okay so i got that message from tom saying to download this thing and it will fix the quicktime problem and keep me safe from phishers. when i try to click the link it pops up the "click to run active X" box then shuts my internet down. whats the deal?

I clicked ok, then it installed something and viewed a .. file from myspace

I think that only certain people go it... people who myspace detected already have quicktime... otherwise the problem wouldn't affect u if u didn't have quicktime.... but I'm still kind of on the fence about downloading the patch though cuz there just seems like theres been way too much craziness on here lately.. lol
