I have loved underoath for many years. the only bumper sticker i have on my baby is an underoath sticker. my favorite underoath song is writing on the walls. the video was in a unique perspective, and as an artist and a musician, i find it rather appealing and a refreshing break from all of the copy/paste videos you see on tv. though i would like to win this contest, if i don’t i won’t be too disappointed because regardless, i will still be able to enjoy the work of the band and they will know how i feel about their work because of this message, though i shortened it to save time & space... & who knows, maybe someday i’ll be able to meet them. btw, i know that this is irrelevant but my fiance loves the almost. LoLz!! i apologize for the randomness, in short, keep up the good work because no matter what you will always have a fan in me. take care!!

It’s hard for me to narrow down which video I like best but I’d probably have to say the one for "You’re Ever So Inviting" is probably my favourite. It’s a perfect demonstration of the bands passion and love for what they do. The raw energy and inventiveness for the concept for the video and the work that was put into it is very evident.

I’d say it’s a great song and one which really shows a lot about the band. Tearing down walls, breaking barriers and doing what they do best, rocking out!

where to start?
underoath has been one of my christian metal inspirations for about 3 years.i have posters, t shirts, sweatshirts, all albums, i can drum to writing on the walls, desperate times, too loud to hear, walking out front door and many others. Your music has been the pathway to help me get through many tough times like divorce, death etc. also, i understand all of the messages you send through songs.

I am entering this for one of my best friends. She loves Underoath, and when she heard that they were coming to Winnipeg her eyes lit up and she did a little happy dance. She wants to go to their concert in the worst way, and being her concert buddy, I would be right beside her. At the very least, I would love it if we were picked to go to the concert just to see the look on her face when I told her where we were going; it would make her day and then some!

I’d have to say that (although this isn’t an easy decision), my favourite video by Underoath is "You’re Ever So Inviting".
I love everything about this video.
Its not only a visually appealing concept (being bound, and used almost like puppets), buts also a realistic concept which most people can relate too.
There are so many times in life when you feel like you are almost being oppressed and controlled by some one or something, and this video displays the liberation of setting yourself free from the destructive ties that bind you.
I also love the fact that they almost made the entire video appear as though there’s no gravity... it gives it some sort of futuristic quality that drew me to it since I first saw it.
I hope that explains it well enough :).
I think this is such an awesome opportunity and although the odds of winning are probably slim, I wasn’t going to give up even the slightest chance.

OH SNAP! One video.. well if I’m allowed to say the special edtion DVD footage from "They’re Only Chasing Safety" then that’s the one.
That made me fall in love with you guys, as a band... and each one of you individually (in a brother in Christ kind of way... I don’t want you to get all creeped out or anything).
Honestly ever since watching that video, I’ve wanted to be in a band and make a band DVD just like that one. My friends and I play music together all the time and we were thining of skipping all the steps to becoming a band, and just go strait to the tour and make the DVD. Thanks for your incredible inspiration. You guys have meant so much to me! Have a great tour!!!

My favortie music video of underoath is "when the sun sleeps".
It was well produced, and written as well.
To me the lyrics have a lot of meaning , and the video affects
were well done and stayed on topic with the meaning of the lyrics.

As well, ive been quiet a big fan of underoath,
everytime they have came here, the outcome was bad.
because i’d always miss them due to something.
and it would be an awesome one in a life time experience to win this prize,
for me and one of my goodfriends, so we can have a chance to spend time together,

I will admit, I’m not the biggest Underoath fan. I love almost all the Tooth & Nail artists. My favourite video probably would have to be Desperate Times, Desperate Measures. The video and the song are unique. That’s probably the only word for it. Underoath is an amazing band, and the video is very... interesting. I understand if I don’t win this contest, but it would be amzing if I did.

dude!!! underoath is so sick!!! can’t wait for the show!my favorite video(s) would have to be dangerous business and in regards to myself. dangerous business because it was the very first underoath video i saw and probably the first song i ever heard, after a few days you guys were my favorite band, and in regards to myself because the video is just so eerie, i love how all the newer videos have some underlying message and that one i honestly haven’t figured out yet, maybe i’m just dim, but i find it all the more intriguing! see you guys in Saskatoon!!! =]
