I'm definitely impressed by the facts stated in the article about Ypulse averaging nearly 62,000 hits a day and all the attention from large corporations. Do you guys feel that the site has a social responsibilty to not sell out the youth of america to the highest bidder

i'm relaying a message from Anastasia here, as she's still unable to post because of the myspace trial period:
Hi Manifest. It's Anastasia Ypulse is absolutely committed to ethical youth marketing and to supporting non-profit youth media. I have posted repeatedly about the ethics of buzz marketing, marketing in schools and have been critical of other approaches and campaigns that don't feel authentic. The Digital Graffiti category on the site is devoted to highlighting non-profit youth media. My hope is to help marketers do what they do with a conscience and an ongoing respect for the teens they are trying to research. Thanks for joining the group!
Thanks!
Anastasia
