I’ve started to write poems.
I took a creative writing class last year.
Do you have any ideas? Anything would help? Thank you.
I would love to see what you have written and you can return the favor if you want.

I’m shy about a lot of things I write and This is one of the few poems I’ve written;
The assignment was a morning writing exercise to find phrases or lines of an article and mash them together.
I haven’t changed it alot.

A Daughter’s Poem

Mother
A girl’s best friend
Know us Love us more
Compassion
Delight in her voice

“Another day is a beginning
All is well
In the world we live”
Her words

Always your daughter
Always your mom
Deeply connected
Rooted into each other

Two of us
One roof
Remembering earlier years
Became friends

Now today,
Independent of one another
Children of our own
Deepen our connection
Our love

She is the one
Who loves me without limits?
Understanding my Mother and
Her beautiful gift

Our laughs
Our smiles
A passing of more than a phone call
But a gift of our love
Wiley Here

I thought you poem was great, well actually I inly read the first verse but I’ll finish eading it in a moment lol
uhhh, here’s one I’m a bit "shy" about

Him

Just one of the many blue eyed amazing people
Obsessed with G-d to a point that engroses my curiosity
Heaven help squelch this torrential affinity
Never have I loved a human mortal so indefatigably

It’s one of my lesser ones but I still love it

I usually just write from personal experiences
whether its something traumatic
or just a morning bus ride to school

I also don’t try to over think it too much;
but of course you still have to have rhythm in your words
and still portray what you want to portray

Just think of an experience and let the words flow

My hero...

I have now found after giving it much thought;
For all the people a hero is sought.
Inspired by many;
Some more than others.

But no one as near as my wonderful mother.

Its taken me time to see her impact.
But she is my hero;
Though she does not know that.
She shows me love;
And has taught me wrong from right.
Somehow always keeping my future in sight.

Shes more than a mother.
Ill love her to no end.
Shes my hero.
My bestfriend.

Haunting

The haunting magic of your touch
seduction of your kiss
i surrender to your promises
no mortal could resist

the hot unbridled passion that your expert hands consipire
an eagerness of patience that gently strokes my fire
i see the power in your strength
the hunger in your eyes
i move to match a your melody
to a rhythm of sighs

and then we come together
as two souls unite as one
where heaven meets the earth
where darkness meets the sun.
