But seriously, my name is Steve from New York. I came across these guys by accident, I was actually doing research on Rush and for one reason or another, I read the described link, listened to the demo, and ordered their package of two cds, poster(autographed) and tshirt.
These guys rock. Not only are they the music that is missing these days, they are extremely courteous and up front. They take the time to answer emails and ask you questions. They are very professional.
In my opinion, you can hear a lot of influences...Rush....R.E.M.....Smithereens<

Hi. My name is Bob. I am from Carpentersville, a suburb northwest of Chicago, Illinois. I found the Engineers while just surfing the net. Can not remember exactly how but that hardly matters once you hear the music. I keep reading how they sound like Rush (of which I am a huge fan) but I would say it is more they have been influenced by Rush. The music and lyrics are excellent and I have had the cd in my player since I bought it. Really looking forward to the next album.
