I was wondering if anyone else has noticed some of the hypocrisy amongst political parties. I realize that Democrats and Republicans have their fair share of screw ups, but I need to know why these aren’t more openly noticed or recognized amongst the American public.

I was watching the news today and they were arguing about how Republicans stand up for personal freedoms and so on... I’m not arguing that they don’t, but doesn’t it seem a little messed up to say such a thing when a personal freedom could be marrying someone of the same sex? Lighting up a doobie in your own home? Not having a child you’re carrying because you don’t want to?

To me, it seems like many Republicans (not all, of course) are out to stand up for their own morals and to take down anything they don’t agree with.

Seems to me you are trying to say that Republicans force their beliefs on people because they want you to believe what they do. Unless you have been hibernating for a few weeks, it was just yesterday that the DEMOCRATS forced their beliefs on the American people by passing out of the House a health care Bill that the people do not want, small businesses do not want, many centrist Democrats do not... Hell, only the far left of the Democratic Party and those who are Democrats disguised as Republicans want this bill! This bill says to the people it is fine to want to be successful, but if you are we want the money you make to pay for the people who cannot afford health care, the illegals in this country who are sick, and those who are just too lazy to get up off their butt to do anything. And OHHH yeah, if you do not pay, we will fine you under IRS code...and if you fail to pay the fine we will take you to jail!

That is not only pushing ideas on people who do not want them, it is without a doubt Unconstitutional! So, the Democrats are not only pushing their beliefs of Socialism on the people, they are breaking the highest laws and freedoms that we were given by the Founders.

If anyone is pushing beliefs, it is those who sit on the left. Last night proves my point!

Haha. I’m glad you could find one thing they push on the country.

I personally have no opinion on the health care bill, mostly because everything I’ve read and heard has changed a million times and I can’t keep up with it all.

You didn’t necessarily answer my questions or topics, but thanks anyway.

Isn’t that really what both parties are out to do? I mean, would be even have parties if it weren’t for agendas?

I did not answer your question because it was so vague it must have come from someone who really has no concept of reality! You have no opinion on the health care bill...LOL...that would be one of the reasons why you come on this board and ask simple questions like you do. It is like in your world the Democrats are loving everyone and getting along and the world would be so much better if we could get those dang Republicans to stop making us believe in God!

I answered your question very well, actually. You said that it seemed that the Republicans are out to stand for their own morals and not those of who they represent, or who you would like them to resemble, not sure which by the question. And I replied, in paragraph form with nice neat sentence structure that your views are very misplaced since it was the DEMOCRATS who took what they hold to be the greatest of moral goals in life, free everything for anyone lazy enough to be a Democrat, and actually went to the House floor and voted a bill out of it!

The passing of the health care bill in the House WAS the Democrats pushing their morals and beliefs on people who want nothing to do with it.

You seem very confused about the process. Well, the House gathers a bill out of many different committees. They put a bill that works for all committees together and send it to the House floor for debate. That debate can last hours or months, depends on what they are debating. After procedural votes have been cast, a vote can be called on the floor for the bill in question, which is what happened on Saturday night. That is the House Version of health care reform, it will not change until reconciliation with the Senate. The Senate does just about the same until they vote in a bill. Then the House and Senate leadership can meet, form one bill that goes to both the House and Senate for approval, and if passed, to the President.

You do not keep up with the health care bill because there is too much that changes? If you knew the rules of the bodies of government that govern you, maybe you would know what to read and not what to read!

And one more thing before I end this temporary annoyance... I could write a book about how the Democrats force their morals and agenda on the American people....OHH WAIT I DID!!!!!

BYE! Maybe you can get some little kid to argue with you, I am just not having fun anymore! LOL
