They’re a kind of pastry... LOL! JK!
It’s when you hover the mouse cursor over headings and such and she change color/font or otherwise in appearance.
My page is a little messed up and some pics went offline and I have to fix that, but my rollovers on my headings should be working.

not to bad for your 1st at all.
I do think it has the way to big and bold effect going on tho. might want to tone that down some.

It kinda has the slight nostalgic, revolutionary propaganda poster vibe of the 70’s, but kinda matches that Reggae band vibe...
I guess more of an old school feel, not to much a modern techie Flash laden look. The MySpace Customizing section in the Forums, especially the pinned topics have lots fo tips for profile 1.0 & 2.0 if you’re sort of new to this, but like the other said, good work for your first layout.

Also you do know or notice your background needs a color added to it right as we can see the default gray on the sides because the background is not big enough.
what you need to do or want to do is actually take that center section and make it its own div just for the main section and back ground then have a totally different background itself. so basically you need to separate those to as you have them tied together all in one.
A background is a background. that shouldnt be part of the center yellow design.
as that will give you problems when designing and being able to be compat with all res screens.
Us like with big screens see this.
