Awhile ago I watched a couple videos on youtube of storms up in the arctic circle,
and now for the life of me I cant remember what the storms were called.
And Ive been looking for an hour..
I think they were called: catagory , or level storms? [not blizzards, there was a number involved lol]
The wind was so strong that if you opened the door it sounded like you were in the middle of a hurricane.
Anyone know what Im talking about?
My mom went to Alaska last Summer and I was trying to show her the vids.

Phase conditions are what we call them on the north slope. A Phase 3 has more to do with visibility than anything - you can literally only see a few feet in front of you. The rest is white. I had my flight to work delayed for two days because of one last week.

He says its a phase 3, but its really a 2. You can’t see anything in a phase 3. I actually have yet to see a phase 3.
