I want to get in shape and found your web site six pack abs workout. I’m having trouble with starting. Every time I start I give up because these trainings are to hard for me right now. What is the best way to start for a man that’s 28 years old and only 157 cm and 50 kg.? And also like the pullups I don’t have excess to a poll (and I can like only do 4).

I like to ask you also about the food, I know you have a plan but is it like must to fallow it as I am a student and I’m living with another students and we shear our food expenses and that includes pasta, cheese like mozzarella is it that bad for me if I don’t fallow the eating tips 100%?

If the exercises are too hard try doing simplified versions of exercises to target. I havent looked at the six pack abs workout but with any programme do what you can and do the best to complete what you can’t. If it means that you do the programme all the way through and then do it again then do so you should be able to do the exercises you couldnt do before. Every individual is different so use the programme as a skeleton workout and tailor it to yourself.

As for food the key to defined abs is a low bodyfat % which will primarily come from diet so eating healthily is a must if you want the defined physique. Everyone has a six pack but if there is a layer of fat on the stomach then it won’t be visible.

Just like Dave said, diet is a huge part of seeing your six-pack, so until you get that under control loosing the body fat will be tough.

As for your chin/pullups, you don’t need a pole. Get yourself a door frame chinup bar. I got to admit that chinups are hard for me too. I used to be able to do several, but I tore my rotator cuff and found after the surgery I couldn’t do more than one or two. I’d recommend, if you’re serious, chair assisted chinups.

Start out with a chair directly under (or as close to the bar as possible). Use one leg to help you pullup. Once you get to 15 or so chinups, move the chair further away from the bar, so you loose the leverage and are relying more on your upperbody to pull up. Finally once you get to about 15 or so chinups with the chair further away from the bar, you loose the chair all together. You’ll probably have to start at a low number without the chair and maybe do short motion chinups, but over time you’ll build back up to the number you want and get full motion chinups.
