Well, to start out, I am fostering a mare. About 2 to 4 years of age. She was caught crossing the border of Mexico/Texas.
We are trying to figure out what type of breed she is. The rescue believes that she could be an Azteca cross. We were wondering if anyone had any thoughts of what breed she might be. Your opinions would be of great help! Thanks

well, you would need pictures and a lot more info then what you provided. any tattoos or brands???? color, size???

There are pictures of her on his myspace. No brands, no marks. She is about 15 hands.

Hmm, appy cross? Its hard to say honestly, she has no pop out features.

She’s kinda awkward, not gonna lie, but I love her face!
I lean more toward maybe an appendix (qh/tb cross). An Azteca is a WB/Qh cross, and I’m not quite seeing that... but that’s my opinion.
I think her head looks TB-ish and her butt looks QH. Either way, good luck with her!
I approve of the name :D
