I would like to know, when clubs host themed events, what is everyone’s favorite themes? I mean, if you see it, you think "Oh, cool! I want to go take part in that!"

I’m trying to put together an event, and while I have several ideas, I’m having trouble deciding on one, so I’m looking to the rest of you SL residents to help me out.

So toss me some ideas peeps!

I dunno, but you can never go wrong with a stand-up event. There is no where near enough of them on SL anymore.

Well, after discussing with the rest of the staff at the club I work, I think it’s been decided that we’re going to celebrate Halloween a little bit early. Since many are like myself and have kids and will be out on the 31st doing parties and the trick or treat thing, we’re going to have our SL party and have a costume contest. But if it goes over well (i.e.: a good turn out) we’ll be doing other events like it in the future. We do nightly events now, but only for a couple hundred L$. This Saturday’s event is going to be for $2500L. It’s going to run from 7-9pm SLT. If you know anyone who is interested, pass along the info. It’s going to be at the Cocomo Beach Club and Lounge on Captiva Island. I’m going to make a formal posting about the event later today when I get all the details and rules hammered out.

I once went to a date auction which was really fun. I also like most themed costume prize contests.

Well, we’re doing a Costume Contest tonight from 7-9pm SLT! Here’s the info (same as bulletin):

Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Cocomo Beach Club & Lounge from 7-9PM SLT.

We’re celebrating Halloween a little early, so we’re going to have a costume contest!

********** $2500L UP FOR GRABS!!! **********

What? Seriously? Can it be true?

ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!

We want to see this club a-jumping, so that means all you crazy peeps out there need to come on down and bring all your friends! Attendance at this event will determine if we do events like this again...and we wanna do it again....but you have to make it worth our staffs’ while!

So here’s the rules. We want you to come dressed up in your best costume. Furries and Nekos are welcome to participate, but just putting on a tail and a pair of ears or a furry avi does not constitute a costume. If you want to dress up like an animal of some kind...it needs to be a suit (i.e.: an ACTUAL clothing costume). Be prepared to explain your costume if one of our staff asks! Also, you need to get the VIP tag to join the contest, so please IM either the Host, DJ, or any of the dancers to get your tag. This will also enable you to receive notification of future events like this one!

So come one, come all and let’s rock the beach. DJ HermeticRev Arkright will be spinning all the best tunes and taking your requests. Our awesome Cocomo Beach Manager Kinney Bellic will be your host, and let’s not forget the Cocomo Dancers!

We’re looking forward to having a frighteningly spectacular event, and we hope to see all you ghost, witches, vamps, and other ghouls and goblins there!

Here’s your ride!

As a very successful Hostess, I have found many enjoy the larger events I plan. We have had much success with my Mystery Murder Nights, and my Find-it nights.
