I have a video that is in a .flv format that I want to edit but my software, windows movie maker, will not work with it. Is there a way to change the format to something like .wmv?

There’s plenty of ways...

You know about the firefox video download helper? There’s a conversion add-on that is available... So... I’d put my flash file into an html file, run it in firefox, use the download helper addon to convert it... I don’t think it should even be necessary to upload it to a website...

I’d like to suggest Format Factory. It converts video, audio, images, etc. It’s a really great (free) conversion program.

This is exactly what I was gonna say, it’s the best file conversion software out there to date. Maybe in the future they’ll be a better one, but this is top of the line right now, and it’s freeware.
