Jacksonville Pagan Pride Alliance’s Samhain Ritual - open to everyone! Sunday, October 25, 10:30am

Come and join your fellow Jacksonville Pagans at the JPPA Samhain ritual. In Irish, Samhain (pronounced sah’-wen) was originally a festival known as Samonios (Gaulish) or "summer’s end", which ironically fits in to our seasons here in Florida since here in the Land of Sunshine, we finally start feeling the cool air about this time. It is a time to celebrate the lives of those who have passed on, and paying respect to ancestors, family members, friends, and other loved ones (including pets) who have died.

We will meet at Tillie Fowler Park (on Roosevelt Blvd/SR-17) at 10:30 am. A potluck follows the ritual. Please bring your favorite dish to share. Apples are the flavor of this Sabbat!

We welcome EVERYONE - all paths, experiences, ages. We always have new people attend, but they leave as members of the pagan community with new friends and memories.
