its that time of year again folks. its time to start planning for minion con. so what we need now is a rough idea of how many people are planning on attending. please post here and let us know if you are coming. cant wait to see everyone again!

yea the location is yet to be decided. honestly we gotta get a feel for how many people are coming and from where. we cant really choose anything until we know that much. or atleast a tentative number. we all have limits of travel.. (except mark aparently) lol so we will all have to be a little understanding when it comes to that. once we know who is able to afford to come and all that then we will be able to narrow down some spots.

Are we referring to Mandrake Con? Has it been renamed?

If so, here’s some suggestions from a thread I started when I wasn’t sure I could go.

- David mentioned Gilly getting a deal in Orlando
- Timothy mentioned a house in Pine Island (near Tampa)
- I suggested Folly Beach, Pawley’s Island or Isle of Palms (all near Charleston)
- Karmaa suggested N. Ga/SC mountain retreat

i tried to find that thread before posting this one! if you know where it is could you post a link here? really right now we need to know who is "planning" on coming. just like every year. it seems like everyone wants it in FL but how many people will actually come?? we need to know what size house to get AND what we can afford. so people please let us know. also include if you cant leave your particular area ie sc/GA or FL or whatever.

And I would love to come no matter where it is....it would be easier though if it were in GA or SC obviously. :)

I would personally prefer a location within the state of GA. Otherwise I gotta get a special travel permit and there’s all this paperwork involved, etc... It’s just more convenient.

Aaron’s been trying to get it in Charleston since the first year, that’s got my vote.

Gimp and I are in. So that mean Just Me will probably be in if she can carpool with us. Not a problem there.

I really want to make it this year. Being in FL or south GA would make it more likely (and not as cold!), but will try either way.

What month are you guys thinking? I’m thinking if its in FL we can maybe* try to go but it will completely depend on when in the year. We want to see everyone but this year may not look good so Im just feeling things out. :)

Last two years it has been in February, not sure about before that, bad memory ;)
