I have collected Elvis things since I can remember, well I have come to the conclusion that it is now time to part with some things. I have a "rare" oil painting of him from 1979 by Lawrence Williams, I’m thinking of selling this, however there are second thoughts being that my parents bought this for my 5th b-day present back in 1980, lol. I know so cliche right? I was looking for information on the painting, my mother attached it’s c.o.a to the back of the frame, which says that it is titled "Elvis Lives" by Portraits by the stars under Boxcar Ent., when I do a search on the net, I get NOTHING, so I ended up searching the artist. I actually got an ad from a lady selling her mothers copy, she claimed that they only made 18 of these paintings. I would really like to know if that is true, I have searched so many sites to the point if I did find anything, I’m sure I would skip right over, lol. If anyones knows this info or where to get this info that would be great!! Please send me a message....
