Hello to everyone that is in the contest this year. I just came from the other MTV partner sites to check out the spoofs other people have uploaded. I have to say it is going to be tough most of the other spoofs were shot in HD. I have to say it look nice but it wasn’t that funny, it had it’s moments. But just to say I saw many other spoofs here that were funnier. The first round is almost over so good luck to all and I wish the best for all the entry’s including myself, lets hope out of this bunch of people here that somebody from MYSPACE wins. I say that because we all are funny in our own way, but we almost all lack that HD quality and I really do hope that does not play a big factor.
Quick Question Without Thinking Of Yourself Which Video Do you Think Will Move On Besides Your respected spoofs, And Lets Be Honest?
I agree with you man.... I watched most of the entries and there’s ALOT of them.. most of them are poorquality and with poor content, but some are killing...

Hey that was funny but I think the quality will not make it a better spoof it has t be funny as well hey check mines out and let me know what you think.
I really enjoyed Three Men and a Juno but you were only allowed to spoof the movies in the list (Legal Reasons, obviously) and There Will Be Blood wasn’t on that list. (I wish it were)
You don’t get moved up into the voting round, because you are then considered ineligible, per the Mtv Movie Spoof Contest official rules. We payed very close attention to the rules for ours, and kept a copy on set with us.
I was hoping There Will be Blood would be included in that list, and had it have been - I would have done a There Will be Blood vs. No Country for Old Men concept since the Academy awards pissed off a lot of people between the two of those films.
When I watched that Three Men and a Juno film, I really liked it but half of me was dying inside knowing how much work they probably put into that film and knowing that they weren’t sticking in the rules by doing it. I know my team and I spent a ton of work and even a bit of cash to get ours done on short notice, shooting on the RED, and even traveled out to Hollywood to shoot it... I would have a heart attack if I found out it was all for nothing. I might still have a heart attack anyway.
Yea there are a lot of great videos this year, this is our second year in and we’re really hoping for the best, but best of luck to everyone else of course!
