I am participating in a topic of the same name in a psychology group and the guy leading it wants to know what the connection is between bibles and guns. I think you should have the opportunity to speak for yourselves so I’m bringing the discussion here. I’ll look at your responses and forward some of them to the other group’s topic. I’ll also post some of the responses from the psychology group here to keep it going.

What’s your story? How has your faith or lack thereof influenced your views on gun ownership and the second amendment?

guns and bibles have a lot of things in common. Mostly every person who believes in the bible believes that they should be able to protect there rights, life and there religion. without the guns, people cannot protect themselves. And without the bible people wouldn’t have guidance. so the two practically go hand in hand with each other.

our great country was founded on God, Liberty and Guns. also it s mentioned in the bible to turn in your cloak for a sword. Today the Gun is the equivalent to a Sword. If there were guns back in the day the Bible was created I can guarantee you guns would be mentioned a lot, as the Sword is mentioned a lot.
