1) First of all I want to say thanks for all of
you for supporting the Wolves in these dark times.
And for writing to the hunter who murdered
the first Wolf in the Wolf hunt. It actually made
news. It even appeared as a topic on msn.com.

The AP whitewashed this incident, and calls our
outrage over this vicious attack as ’bad-mouthing’.
So I guess murder doesn’t happen in their minds.
When someone gets viciously killed and they aren’t
human it isn’t murder. This is because dark Darwinism
is on the mindset of most people. That just because
it isn’t Human, we can do whatever we want with it.

This isn’t ethical or justifiable.

Why? Those like Marc Bekoff, have much in the way
of research that proves that animals have feelings
and emotions like us. His recent book, called Wild
Justice proves as such, in addition to his other
works. Even if they didn’t, it doesn’t mean one
should engage in such acts.

Judge Molloy as we showed, knew the delisting was
illegal as well as the hunts. Yet he went along
with it. And know he is trying to place blame on
the USFWS for the removal of the Grey Wolves in
the Northern Rockies from the Endangered Species
List.

No Mr. Molloy, if you relisted them, and
charged the USFWS for delisting the Wolves, that
would have been the right thing to do.

You had the power judge, you just refused to act
due to political pressure. And economic pressure

Keep up the pressure and support for Wolves to be
relisted and contact Molloy and your government
officials and the hunters who hunt these Wolves.
Also contact the AP in response to their support
of dehumanizing behavior in regards to animals
and in particular, Wolves.

from eating Wolf kills. (That isn’t
bad news, but this needs to be stated

injunction, are backing off on it, so that they
hope Judge Molloy, who broke the law by not stopping

This is bad, because now more Wolves are going
to die. I can see that they want to get to the
heart of the matter and try to change things from
there, but what if Molloy doesn’t relist Wolves
in the end? This gamble would be a massive blow
and more than just to them.

reconsider the injunction. And contact Molloy. Since
he knows the hunt is illegal, it must end here.

this ’person’ is coming out with a book in 2010.

Oh well. Here we go.

Reading this article, and ’knowing’ Niemeyer, well this is an
interesting page here. The article writer and the editor’s note
at the end reminds me of Kanye West and his self-absorption with
himself and his ’talents’, like as of late. Both seemed to have
appeared under auspicious circumstances.

For one, as Judge Molloy said, the USFWS illegally delisted wolves.
And this largely was done under political circumstances. I wonder why:
It’s called money and profit.

I recall, the hunters and the ranching industry (who don’t support non-lethal methods)
have alot more profit value than wolves. Take a guess as to what happens next when
you have a recession. And people want to hunt wolves? They get their wish.
Especially when Obama, who wanted
change, decided to do, some negative change.

Why I compare Niemeyer to West is simple. Their talents are simply overblown and
without proof nor merit. Niemeyer for years and I tangled because he constantly
refused to listen to reason, and this is still the case, over the success
of non-lethal methods. If they were used, and properly so, there would be no
lame excuse for their slaughter in livestock issues. But he still justifies here
his record of slaughter. He even went abroad not too long ago to promote his ’ideals’
for Wolf Management. Which is nothing more than what I have found in one book (Book
of the Weaver) to be called, the ’Mickey Mouse’ solution. Where nature is marginalized, animals
can’t be themselves and the places left are just science experiments. Think about
it folks, is nature able to exist without the human attached?

NO.

Because men like Niemeyer, and Ralph Maughan seem to support the idea that we
have to still tame them, though not directly to what we want them to be.
Through our own goals. Human’s own ideology for their future.

Would you want to trust Niemeyer to be an advocate for Wolves?

"Wolves are going to be killed. It’s unavoidable that wolves are going to
have to be managed and at some point if the recovery effort is as successful
as it’s been it’s reasonable to assume that wolves will be harvested or culled
through hunting and other harvest measures."

That is already assuming you can’t create change or fight against something that
is imminent perhaps. Letting something bad happen is just as unethical as
perpetuating it. It would be like shooting Patrick Swayze or Ted Kennedy
instead of letting them battle their terminal cancers. Oh wait, that’s right,
they are human, so it doesn’t matter to these men.

This is why you don’t have to kill Wolves in livestock issues.

And as far as one of Niemeyer’s ’successes’, here is one. The slaughter of
the Whitehawk pack. Despite world-wide
protest of the planned attack, he ignored them all,
and brutally slaughtered them all.

Biologists need to not encourage the slaughter of Wolves and protect them.
This article does neither. If Niemeyer was ’actually’ wanting to protect the
wolves, he would be exposing the unlawful removal of wolves from the Endangered
Species Act. He would be encouraging the protection of wolves and how to
stop the hunting. Instead he is not. Using his status, being a bystander as
usual, letting wolves die, instead of helping them.

This would be like a doctor letting his patient die rather than saving the
patient from their illness, or at least, attempting to. This I recall would
be illegal too, but hey as long as animals are treated as 2nd class citizens,
it will be, ’business as usual’.

I recalled Mech being mentioned here too. He supports too the same ideas,
hunting of wolves and the destruction of wolves in livestock issues.

Both are unethical practices and will foster hatred and violence. Just because
people don’t like wolves in a minority doesn’t mean we should execute them for
this. It would be no different than taking rights away from people. I think people
would have a SEVERE problem with their rights taken away since you know, they
could die because of that. Just because wolves are not human doesn’t mean we can
do whatever we want with them or give them any less respect we do to people. Period. What’s needed is education instead of violence and peaceful solutions.

It’s sad that biologists and scientists who study them become so obsessed with
calculations, numbers and lose their love of what they began to study that
they forget this most important point.

1) Here is the info on the man
who murdered that Wolf recently
in Montana.

The Wolves were just sunning themselves
when this hunter went in and shot
them to death.

His intent is to make it into a rug
since he can’t make a life mount.

This is the second Wolf murdered in
Montana as of late. To make matters
worse he is an out of state hunter.
As if hunting was bad enough.

It’s sad because he said the Wolves
were not fearful of him.

Of course they weren’t. They didn’t
expect him to come out shooting at
them. They will now.

1) An article was released recently that talks about
a ’Wolf lover’, Mike Medberry,
who is actually endorsing the
hunts in the Northern Rockies. And is encouraging
other ’wolf lovers’ like him to do the same.

He also to boot, is claiming that he still
hasn’t ’softened his environmental concerns’.

First of all, this ’man’ isn’t a ’wolf-lover’.
If you love something, don’t you want to see it,
alive? This man isn’t an activist. Not anymore.
He loves to see wolves dead. In this article he
thinks that a few dead bodies is justifiable in
the long term for the wolf’s survival and acceptance.

Sound familiar? This is the same garbage that David
Mech, famous ’wolf-expert’ is feeding people.

And yet now, so many organizations and people are
actually fighting against the rulings of the false
science the USFWS promoted for many years that we
talked about. And against their own beliefs that
they once supported.

No, the only thing he is, is a man who loves wolves
to die. Especially since he thinks the ESA succeeded
more than ever before. He also just so happens to think
that environmentalists who are fighting to stop the
hunt are "disingenuous".

Imagine if it were members of his family that
were sentenced to die instead, I think he would
have a hard time with that, but since Wolves aren’t
Human, this is ok. No, this is wrong. REAL wrong.
Not to mention, it would be no different than like
than us classifying Jerry Falwell as a human-rights
advocate because he claimed he was a Christian and
loved everyone, except if you just so happened to
be gay.

You cannot pass the buck is the point. You support
the Wolves and their prosperity, or you don’t. What
Medberry did was sell out the Wolves in the drive-thru.
Saying have a nice day and not caring about what happens
to them next.

Also, the program was a failure. Anyone who actually knew
Wolf issues can tell you that. In fact, the whole thing
was a failure. The USFWS constantly broke the law to
destroy Wolves in livestock issues. Not to mention they
and Judge Molloy broke the law to get them delisted
recently. The populations in both the Gray Wolf Program
and the Mexican Gray Wolf one are perilously low as it
is. Not to mention Molloy admitted the delisting was illegal
in the Northern Rockies and it was solely political.

Wolf populations in the U.S. alone are about 15% of what
they once were, or less. Yet those uneducated about Wolves
and want them dead are calling Wolf populations, ’exploding’.

Gamespot.com first covered about the sequel to the
smash hit game Okami, you play as the heroic wolf
Amaterasu, who just so happens was the incarnation
of the Sun goddess of Japan.

In the sequel, you play as a wolf pup with the same
powers who must protect the ancient lands of Japan
once again from evil.

Okami was a great game and the guidebook that was
released that covers the whole game and it’s many
aspects was excellent. I recommend getting it.

It’s called Okami Official Complete Works. It’s superhard
to find, so good luck!

Wolves in Japan have gotten alot of attention lately in Japan.
They have made Wolf’s Rain, Stormy Night, and making the show
Spice and Wolf, based on the great literature of the same name.

Plus the Japanese wolf has been talked about in the book,
The Last Wolves of Japan, by Brett Walker. And the
Shinsengumi (aka the Wolves of Mibu), who embodied the spirit,
savage nature, and nobleness of wolves, have been covered
over many years in Rurouni Kenshin, Peacemaker Kurogane in anime,
and great videogames for the Japanese PS2, like Fu-Un Shinsengumi
and Shinsengumi Gunrouden.

The new Okami for DS continues this, and hopefully this trend in
media will continue to honor the once Japanese worshiped wolf god,
Oguchi no Magami, or Large Mouth Pure God. And one day, maybe wolves
can re-populate in Japan once more.

Until that time, look forward to another hit in the future to the
great franchise that Okami is.

Several news items have appeared as of late.

1) Several Wolves were shot to death recently.

A) One was in Colorado, where officials haven’t
commented, at ALL as to what could have caused
it. So far nothing has emerged.

Whatever it was, it was more than likely, a human.

And to what end we hope there can be a revealing
of information. Despite what hunters, and the government
agencies who think the best protection is taking away
rights, they must have protections restored to
prevent this from happening.

Thanks to men like Ed Bangs, and others, Wolves cannot
make it to Colorado if they keep getting shot to death

B) Another Wolf was shot to death in Idaho, where
the Wolf was shot to death by a hunter.

C) A parachutist illegally (like legal would be moral?..) murdered
a Wolf with a shotgun. Since there was no evidence of the body,
the case was just dropped. Aerial shooting is illegal and yet

2) Also the Idaho Department of Fish and Game wants to
be able to land in Wolf territory to dart and collar them.

No thanks. They have done already done enough damage to
Wolves and we don’t need them exerting more control and
domination over a species that deserves freedom.

I don’t think people would like to be collared, and tracked
everywhere they went. Just because Wolves are non-Human, doesn’t
make it right.

3) A disturbing article recently has appeared in the hunting magazine
called, north american Whitetail. It was called, The Wolf Crisis, and
the author was Jeff Lampe. This individual has been writing anti-Wolf
blogs for a website: http://www.prairiestateoutdoors.com/index.php?/scattershooting/wolf_hunt_stuff/

One disturbing fact is that he has a link to the Illinois Sierra Club.
Whether he is a member of the Club or not, is unknown.

In this article he uses what we call in the trade ’junk science’ to
say that Wolves are decimating Elk populations.

That’s funny, then why does the same publication you are writing in
have an article called, The Culling Question, Which Bucks Really Need
to Go? They promote limiting the growth of elk populations in this
magazine, yet they like Jeff Lampe complain when Wolves take what they
need for food and provide for the ecosystem.

The article here is nothing about science or anything ethical or
justifiable. An article prior to this by the same author proves this.

Here’s some quotes from it:

’A federal judge has shown some sanity by ruling that wolf hunts in Idaho and Montana can move forward.’

’So kudos to Molloy.’

’And kudos to Robert Millage, who is credited with shooting the first wolf once the
Idaho hunt (for up to 220 wolves) started on Sept. 1. The Montana hunt for up to
75 wolves starts Sept. 15.’

Yeah this isn’t sanity at all. And Ed Bangs was wrong, Wolves can occupy
more spaces than this. He just wanted to do this job of restoring Wolves half-done
and cut himself off from it.

And this article is about a false conspiracy generated by a hunter who
fears and hates Wolves. As well as those who fight for them. He actually
believes that environmentalists don’t want the hunters in the woods, so
they are restoring Wolves so they will hunt all of the deer and force them
out.

Um, if you studied biology, you would know that predators are the apex of the
population. They don’t over eat their prey base. There is always more prey
animals than predators. It’s how nature was set up. On the other hand if prey
animals aren’t eaten, then the ecosystem degrades. And falls apart. Places
without predators leads to desertification.

To back this up, want to know how many Wolves there are total in each state
on average in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming? About 2000 and guess how many
people occupy these three states? Round it to about 3, 018, 000. This is thanks
the census.gov website’s data.

So who is outnumbering whom? It certainly isn’t the Wolves. In fact people
are continuing to overpopulate. The world population is supposed to hit
7 billion in 2 years. And by the way, the delisting as Judge Molloy admitted,
was based on politics, not science. Not that it would have been ethical.
I mean, if it were people, you wouldn’t take away their rights so they
wouldn’t be protected by the police and are under threat at any time would
you?

It is also politically motivated because guess who is magically a supporter
of hunters overnight? Barack Obama. Thanks to Wolf we covered it in the past
and now our informant Wolf also gave this to show you folks.

Disturbing huh?

Lampe also claims that environmentalists do more harm than good when it
comes to nature. How? By restoring animals once where they belonged?
Responsible stewardship of the Earth? Maybe having less children so
we don’t consume what’s left of the Earth and leaving it a trash heap?
What this is also really about is hunters like Lampe who don’t want
Elk shared with Wolves. Hunters that sadistically kill animals and
find it sane. The same kind of people who can’t fathom people who
actually want to protect the animals they want to kill.

Imagine if it was their daughter or son they were protecting. I think
these hunters wouldn’t have a problem with it then, and wouldn’t want
their progeny killed. But since it’s a Wolf and it’s getting in the
way of their ’sport’ and false pride, it’s different.

He also writes in this article about livestock depredation numbers
and statistics. I can tell you, depredations are a very low statistic
and overplayed. More livestock die of natural causes, lightning strikes
and in a slaughterhouse.

Ed Bangs in this article was quoted as saying these hunts were long overdue.
I guess that shows where the USFWS has it’s cards in, and it certainly is NOT
environmental protection, along with Jeff Lampe’s.

Here are some links showing evidence that hunting is a threat to Wolves and
Deer.

’Hunting animals does not prevent starvation, it promotes it. When deer and other animals
are wounded and are unable to forage for food as a result of their wounds, the secondary cause
of death is starvation. Furthermore, a deer herd can only grow as large as its available food supply.
If the herd outgrows its food supply, the competition for food creates stress, which eventually
leads to natural factors that contribute to a decline in numbers, until the herd is once again
in balance with its habitat and food supply.’

’Hunting actually increases deer overpopulation because when a huge number of deer are killed,
it leaves a surplus of food for the remaining herd members, which will maximize the birth rate
of the deer, to once again bring their numbers in balance with the available food supply.
It is a terribly vicious cycle promoted by wildlife managers, to assure hunters an infinite
supply of live targets each and every year.’

Hunters, not conservationists are the most dire threat here.

The wonderful game Okami for PS2 (and the Wii), was about a Japanese
mythological goddess by the name of Amaterasu, who fights against
evil after being reincarnated in a Wolf form.

Now, a sequel will come out, four years later after the original

This beauty is about 2 yrs old, underweight, .

She is shy, but loves to go for walks on the leash, pulls a little as she is skittish, but I
think she will settle in nicely once she finds a real home. Pretty Raven was the alpha female
to most of the pack of 18, so she is well socialized with other dogs. I would like to see her
go into a home with a male companion as she lost her mate back to the collector’s dad. Raven
will be spayed upon adoption and get UTD shots before leaving the shelter... that is, if we can
save her from euthanization.

Take a look at this upper mid-content husky mix that needs a loving home and a female companion to
keep him company when you can’t be there. Strong containment is required for him as with most
wolfdogs of his content. Do your research as they do require more raw meat, attention and
entertainment than our domestic breeds. Keno is a very intelligent gentle boy.

His current "guardian" has given me about a week before he shoots them all.

My pleading does not help. He knows that shooting a dog in Tennessee is illegal,
but he also knows that poison can be accidental. He told me he had plenty of rat poison
to feed them! I feel helpless to help these babies. Is there anyone out there who can
help save their lives? I will help anyway that I can.

These are the parents who need saving also but he won’t let them go. I
couldn’t get a very good picture of mama because she was too upset.

All she has is an old pick up topper to sleep under....

So far the casualties in this war against Wolves
have totaled pretty high since hunting has been allowed.

27 wolves have been slaughtered in Idaho, which has been supported
by Doug Smith, originally responsible for the recovery of wolves
into Yellowstone. And he supported the delisting of wolves from
Endangered Species Act. The sickening part is, is that it didn’t
faze him. 9 wolves were murdered as of October 1st in Montana.
One of the packs was from Yellowstone. And hunts haven’t began
even in Wyoming, yet.

Carolyn Sime of the Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks who supports the destruction of
wolves, wonders why this is unexpected and how the high rate
of hunting success may lead to an early end to the hunts.

And they aren’t the only ones. The Senate and House passed a a provision in the Agriculture Appropriations bill
that will allow the continuation in 2010 the slaughter wolves in livestock issues in Minnesota
and relocate some to Michigan and Wisconsin. Already 186 wolves have
been slaughtered this year in Minnesota. The President is now going to have
to decide whether to sign it or not...And next year, the USFWS will once again...
attempt to delist the wolves in the Great Lakes region.

This provision, announced by U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar, D-Minn., allows in addition for reimbursement to farmers
who lose livestock. None of it goes towards prevention and non-lethal methods of course.

Other wolves have died in these hunts, the Cottonwood Pack is
now officially gone from the Earth. And Jewel, a yearling female
from the Phantom pack, has been assassinated.

Ralph Maughan who tries to decry the hunting of wolves, thinks this
has to be a reality and therefore we should diminish it, and not
still do our best to eliminate it. Sorry ’pal’, you can’t say you
support wolves if you say they are going to be hunted no matter what.

It’s like saying, well since crime will always happen, we might as
well just let it happen. And not do the best we can to prevent it.
That doesn’t fly. Of course Maughan supported the USFWS and some of
it’s former agents like Carter Niemeyer. He currently works for the
Idaho Department of Fish and Game and slaughtered wolves in livestock
depredation issues that could have been prevented through non-lethal
methods.

We don’t support hunting at all. Ever. But even we know that
once you get enough of people in a small group to go after
something they hate for no reason that is justifiable, they will
do it with such zeal you will not believe. Fear and hatred of
something will cause many to do things you will not expect. But
it doesn’t help that Sime slaughters wolves too.

She was responsible for the elimination of the Sage Creek wolf pack in livestock
issues.

Of course the implications of this go higher than one would expect.
What starts out as a wolf issue directly ties into the human world.
All are one and one are all, after all.

The situation with wolves today has been impacted by many events over
a span of a year, to get to this point.

Barack Obama today won the Nobel Peace Prize which has hit the
airwaves and everyone has a view already on it. We are here to
offer ours.

Obama did win it, but as with any recipient of any award, do they
necessarily deserve it? In this case, no.

Now we aren’t a party or politican supporting organization.
One must realize is that both political parties dance to the tune of
Wall Street and the Federal Reserve. As well as the corporate and
constituents that get them their seats before all else. Money and
profit come before all else. Maybe because of greed, maybe not, but
the result is the same. As long as money rules, everyone besides those
who have it, suffer.

Obama promised change, which during his campaign he mentioned the
environment in passing. Although Global Warming was somewhat of a
priority, little was stated. In the past, it’s been on and off
as to what party supported environmental changes, which is another
reason why we shy away from supporting political officials.

Especially when it gets really strange like how Nixon signed the
Endangered Species Act into law on December 28, 1973. Yet Teddy
Roosevelt, who set aside Yellowstone National Park, isn’t the hero
most think he is. In fact he was racist against Native Americans,
he did think that a good Native American was a dead one. He was
also a hunter, who didn’t care about protecting bison until his
livelihood in that department would almost cease because of the
bison’s near-extinction.

He also supported the annihlation of wolves, which would imbalance
the ecosystems of the U.S. and Yellowstone, until the modern
era.

But I don’t digress here. And here is one very important point that
shouldn’t be forgotten here.

Roosevelt wasn’t a conservation politician, or protecting nature
for the sake of itself. He served hunting interests and his constituents,
and was protecting that ’lifestyle’, rather than nature and it’s
human inhabitants, the Native Americans.

Roosevelt’s presidency was from 1901–1909 and he won a Nobel.
It was for helping to the Russians and the Japanese end the
Russo-Japanese war in 1905. However it was conveniently forgotten
about the plight of the Native Americans and nature that he
caused.

Over the past year things have culminated to the delisting of the
wolf and attacks on it again, in the form of another president.

I) Obama appointed Senator Ken Salazar of Colorado to be Secretary of
the Interior.

Ken Salazar is against wolves, which although some rachers thankfully
support the peaceful co-existence between human and wolf, most do not,
which includes this man.

In the past he supported poison being used on wolves and he did agree
with the Bush Administration’s move to delist wolves. Obama’s administration
would have no problem with this.

II) Why? Because he had hunters as help for a minor boost to the
economy and not to mention he thinks hunters are vital to nature.

III) The de-listing was also not just un-ethical, but illegal.
The Judge who didn’t allow an injunction to stop the hunts for
now said it himself, that it was politically motivated.

And who is in control of the White House, politically? The President
and Congress. They are paying back their constituents and Wall Street,
while the Federal Reserve right now (which they are their own entity,
which that even the government has no idea what they are doing and what
their motives are) is pumping out money even though
we are in debt to the Chinese. If they can get more money
pumping into our economy from hunters while doing pseudo-environmental
protection to prevent a total disaster, all the better.

Obama is a president that goes by the style of trying to appeal to everyone,
rather than doing the right thing. And that has resulted in a Theodore
Roosevelt presidency where, things once again have become where special
interests rule the democracy, rather than the majority ruling it.

Most Americans want them back.

Although Michael Moore made the severe mistake of having support from
hunters in getting Obama into office (this has become common practice
now. Some groups like the Sierra Club even have hunters among their
ranks), he does make a valid point.

We need democracy back. The majority opinion and views win. Not small
interests groups ready to throw cash to get what it wants.

Money they say is the root of all evil because
when you factor in: profit, Wall Street, corporations who are corrupt, as well
as hunters (and the hunting industry), the idea that
humans are superior to nature (which leads to more unethical behavior),
this is the result.

Wolves shouldn’t be killed, in hunts or livestock issues. This has
to stop. And we can’t do it without you. My voice alone cannot do that.
You can take action. Until this is undone, the progression of humanity
and nature together will stop, and decline into a state of nothingness.
What humans do to nature, it will suffer for in the end.

As we speak the hunts where that Yellowstone pack was killed have
ceased, but the hunts still continue in Montana...even though this
statement was said:

"... We don’t want to kill the wilderness wolves and the wolves that don’t
need some education, which are those on the ranch land, " said Fish, Wildlife
and Parks Commissioner Ron Moody. "I want to ensure sufficient opportunity to
be available during the general season."

Here is the latest in news folks.

1) With the tragedies unfolding in wolf hunts,
it can clearly be shown that wolves cannot be
delisted. It would be no different than delisting
the rights of humans and allow people to do whatever
they want. It’s an absurd concept, and although
some like Doug Smith (of the Yellowstone
Wolf Recovery Program) would consider this ’polarizing’.

We beg to differ.

Especially since we advocate peace between both humans
and wolves and the strict use of non lethal methods to
prevent livestock depredations by wolves.

Hunting has shown tragedies. 27 wolves shot dead in Idaho,
a wolf pack from Yellowstone gunned down recently, and
more.

And now plans are being written for a plan on the road
to delisting in Washington. Once again the show of a
comment period and wolf working groups that is a coverup
for a false, illegal, quick delisting so wolves can be
shot has begun again.

Oppose the plan. What it will be is just run of the mill. The oppression
and destruction of wolves in livestock issues, followed by the delisting

Until wolves are respected as we are, that non lethal methods only
are used in livestock issues, and wolves aren’t hunted, can we agree to
anything. We cannot compromise the rights of wolves. I don’t think these
wildlife agencies would compromise the rights of their mothers, fathers,
daughters, or sons. I also don’t think they would willingly pull the
plug on someone they love either, or let them die intentionally that is
human. But with a wolf they can justify that, which is wrong. This is
a chronic problem and must end also.

in danger even more than ever before. They will be delisted in the

Totally domesticated, but also loves the outdoors. Love hiking and camping!!

Timber is four years old, spayed, perfectly behaved in the house, does not run off during a hike.

Timber has never killed anything, she gets along with big & small dogs and cats. Timber loves horses
and has a lot of experience being around horses. She also loves people, but can be initially a little
afraid of young men, but will quickly make friends with them if they take the time to get to know her.

Timber needs needs 6 ft high fencing with hot wire or lean in. She likes to cruise the neighborhood when
bored but this may be remedied with a big wuffer to play with and keep her company,
she has given no indication of digging.

Timber is about 50 lbs. Great on horseback rides, great in the car…loves car rides and is great on a leash.
Loves kids.

Take a look at this upper mid-content husky mix that needs a loving home and a female companion
to keep him company when you can’t be there. Strong containment is required for him as with most
wolfdogs of his content. Do your research as they do require more raw meat, attention and
entertainment than our domestic breeds. Keno is a very intelligent gentle boy.

He is good with people and even does great at the vet’s! He is usually a laid back little guy,
although he’ll bark and run in circles if he thinks you’re coming to pet, walk, or feed him.
He’s very charming and mannerly with his canine girlfriend; lets her check out both food bowls
and decide on one before he tries to eat, and when she pretends to have puppies (stuffed animals)
and holes up with them, he patiently stands guard at the mouth of the den.

He is excited to see other dogs but does not act aggressive towards them. He DOES stalk and
charge at cats, so can NOT live with smaller animals. Loves to walk on a leash but does not
have much for leash manners so you have to hang on! Fortunately he is on the smallish side
for a wolfdog, perhaps 60-70 pounds, and is probably mixed with husky and shepherd. He has
plenty of energy and love left in him, if someone wanted to give an older boy a chance.

He lives in the south east part of the country. Is an outside boy and I doubt if he is housebroken.
Would be a terrific companion and pen mate for a sweet older girl.

They are both upper -mid content , Mixed with Malimute , with a high prey drive. NO children, and NO kitty cats
PLS, they do get along OK with other dogs on their own level, no small dogs... maybe a female , they were good
with the neutered male wolf dogs, and dogs, that are dog social and have no ulterior motives...they are about 5
years old. They are neutered ... It takes Ty-Ohni a while to warm up comfortably, the look in his eyes
will soften over time when he realizes you are there to protect him.. They ride in a crate, they are learning to
walk on leashes ..Ty-Ohni likes to be in front ...should use training collars for these guys... they like their walks.
they like playing in the water in the sprinkler ... they weigh about 85-95 lbs. Shumani is the larger
bodied of the two. they need experienced wolf dog owners with proper secure enclosures to prevent escape.

Arrora is a beautiful young possible low content wolfdog who has been taken into foster
care in Colorado, but will soon need her forever home. Arrora is about 1 1/2 years old,
and was with her family since she was 8 weeks old. Her family fell into difficult times financially
and medically, and they were forced to give up Arrora.

(HoW’s view: How could you give up your wolf-dog? It is a member of your family. You woudn’t
give up your son or daughter if you fell into hard times would you? It’s the idea that animals
still are a lower rate than humans that gives a result like this. I would sell all of my possessions
rather than give up any of my family members that are pets..)

4) And in Washington, unfounded fears
by hunters who falsely claim that wolves
will decimate elk, (which they can’t because
they cannot annihilate their food sources)
and ranchers who believe that they will
decimate their livestock (which is also
incorrect since it is a low percentage,
and that can be halted with non-lethal
methods and PF Ranching), are causing
management practices to be considered
once again.

Thus the cycle of chaos and destruction
over false fears once again resumes. And
money rules where logical thought and reasoning
do not.

Working group is a euphemism for a false
show of the guise that everyone is working
for common ground, when the interests above
already have control. These groups don’t
matter because the conservation aspect
will be forgotten and having hunting interests
would be as beneficial as having a death panel
at a comittee discussing if HIV Vaccines are
worth pursuing.

Oppose these plans. What it will be is just run of the mill. The oppression
and destruction of wolves in livestock issues, followed by the delisting
of wolves which will lead to hunts and loss.

Until wolves are respected as we are, that non lethal methods only
are used in livestock issues, and wolves aren’t hunted, can we agree to
anything. We cannot compromise the rights of wolves. I don’t think these
wildlife agencies would compromise the rights of their mothers, fathers,
daughters, or sons. I also don’t think they would willingly pull the
plug on someone they love either, or let them die intentionally that is
human. But with a wolf they can justify that, which is wrong. This is
a chronic problem and must end also.

5) Sweden has changed it’s wolf policies, again.
And not for the better in alot of ways. Parliament
there decided to make several changes on Wed.

Although 20 wolves will be introduced to curtail
inbreeding, the licensed hunting of wolves in the
winter will continue. And thus the population
will be culled to a limit of 210.

And the provincial governments will have the power
to make more decisions in regards to hunts, rather than
the environmental section of the Swedish government.

WOLF-MEDIA ALERTS 10/23/2009

1) Shaun Ellis from Animal Planet came out with the book,
The Man Who Lives With Wolves. Going through as much as
we could before this post here, it is a way better book
than Spirit of the Wolf. Especially since that book
supported the destruction of wolves in livestock issues.

This also because on Air America radio in an interview
on Tuesday, he did an about-face to all of that. The less
people that support the destruction of wolves in livestock
issues, the better.

In this book he talks about his upbringing, how he was
inspired by wolves, and his subsequent life with them.
Oddly enough he gets inspiration from Doug Smith
(of the Yellowstone program, who coincidentally supports
wolf destruction in livestock issues), to continue with
this project despite his critics.

I would check it out at least to see his side of things.
Many will dismiss him, but at least you can see what
knowledge he has shared in this book and such. Sometimes
to truly understand something is by living that experience
and ultimately relating to it.
