The beautiful 21st Annual International Two Spirit Gathering poster.

For the past 20 years the annual international convening of GLBT Native people has provided opportunities for inter-tribal education & sharing of traditions, important health and human service updates from around the continent, as well as social and ceremonial time together.
The following is an itinerary of the events that will take place at the 2009 21st Annual Two Spirit Gathering.
Wednesday October 7, 2009
12:00-5:00 p.m.: Registration; settling in.
05:00-06:00 p.m.: Dinner
06:00 p.m. – Evening: Talking Circle; Wellness, blessing & getting acquainted.

Thursday October 8, 2009
08:00-09:00 a.m.: Breakfast
09:00-10:00 a.m.: Organizational leadership workshop; Two Spirit leaders
10:00-11:30 a.m.: Two Spirit Honor’s Project; Katrina Walters or affiliate
12:00-01:00 p.m.: Lunch
01:00-02:30 p.m.: Transgender Awareness/Activism Forum; natoyiniinastumiik (Holy Old Man Bull)
02:30-04:00 p.m.: HIV on the Reservation; Steven Barrios
