I’ve never seen True Blood, because I disconnected my cable, but I know EVERYONE loves this show!
This, along with the fan video for John the Revalator (you know, the one portraying George W. Bush as the Anti-Christ??! lol!) and the fan video for Sister of Night, where they use still from my most fave TV show of all time (Forever Knight) are my favorite unofficial videos!
This month is three years that my husband and I have voluntarily gone without cable, so I’ve never seen the show, either. That said, I think the video fits the song quite well.
I have a hard time believing THAT was the actual official video for that song. If it was I am very disappointed. Corrupt is my absolute favorite song on the new album and I would have hoped for a DM original video to go with it.
I love True Blood and the song does fit the show pretty much perfectly, but still, I hope and pray it was done solely for the shows benefit and will not be the actual video DM does for the song.
I don’t have cable either..... I purchased True Blood season 1 from amazon. Its really good.
**Also the Dexter series’ is a great show !!!

It was my understanding that it’s just a promotional video for the show.
Yeah it is. I remember seeing studio/video footage of Corrupt some time ago. Looks like they just spliced that with the TB promo shots. No worries people.
I have seen one season of "True Blood", and i am happy to say..IT fits Perfectly!!
And i I love the prospect of Depeche Mode getting soo much plubicity! Excellent!
I realllly do not like the HTF video. I am dissapointed in it, and I wish the guys were in it :/ but the people claiming they are no longer fans because of this single video... that’s kinda silly. I still love ’em and i’m every bit as obsessed with them as I was before.
I thought the Corrupt promo was pretty decent, but would have preferred an actual video.
Now Hole to Feed is a different story...
As much as I love DM, I really don’t like this one. I think the director is beating people over the head with the point... I get it, people are disaffected and greedy. Trust me, I am no prude, but I found this one pretty gross. The ’rave’ aspect is another part that puzzles me... 90’s too recent to be retro, too old to reflect current culture. On top of all of that, DM are nowhere to be seen.
I liked it better when there was more subtlety in their videos. Shock tactics don’t appeal to me. It kind of worked for Wrong, but for other songs it just seems like pandering to a younger, harder to please audience.
Okay, another Utube user posted this, so now the video is up and working.
I wonder if the guys ever saw this before it was released?! Not sure if the videos were ever working right, because the video is not working on their website, nor on their myspace page. Could this have been yanked?!

Anton, where are you?!?!?!?!?!
Ok, last thing I’m saying about the HTF video
Haaah, I’ve been asking the same question.
I look up the video on youtube everyday to read the comments and it seems to never be the same video. It’s always posted by a different user. I don’t know, something seems odd.
