Has anyone tried laser light therapy, or heard anything about it? I was recently sent some info on it....from a salon i used to get my hair cut at. I have not called to ask the prices, but it says treatments are twice a week for at least six months. I want to know more before i spend a lot of money on yet another treatment that does not work.

Thanks for any info!

hi... if it is what im thinkin of when i was in school for hair we had a guy who came in like twice a month for a treatment.. (he was an older man who was losing his hair.. and swore to this treatment... said it works) it was done with a big tool that almost looked like one of those old time massage tools.. and it put out a blue light...
all i know is it smelled REAL bad.. i had to be there for a year and the whole year he was coming in, and did not see a bit of growth...

i really believe with hair loss though that every person is different.. so even though it didnt work on him.. i say try, what harm can it do.

I went through laser treatments myself about a year ago. I noticed I had some regrowth with getting them done (twice a week as you mentioned) but it would fall out again. Plus, it burned my head and caused peeling along with blisters. So, I stopped because I was missing quite a bit of school plus, to me, it wasn’t worth the burn. As far as cost goes though, my insurance covered it completely. But as is well known, everyone reacts differently to treatments so maybe it will work better for you than it did for me. I hope I helped.
