So this past thursday, I went to david’s Bridal with my mother, and my 4 bridesmaids, and my fiance’s aunt (who is pretty much a mother to him). So there were 7 of us in David’s. Which was totally fine because....We had the place to ourselves for about 30 minutes! And then, only ONE bride came in. It was great.

So I tried on the "favorite" from the last time I went. All the girls liked it. I tried on a second dress. His aunt (my future "mother in law") and I REALLY liked it. I couldn’t help but smile. BUT, I had a dress that I wanted to try on. I saw a picture of it in DB’s book a few months ago, and thought "Thats cute! I’ll try it." Well, as my mother was helping put the dress, she was getting excited. We opened the door up, and I looked ahead at the mirror. I just smiled. It was SO beautiful. As plain as it was! I twisted and turned in the mirror. And then I asked the sales associate about a sash. She brought back the perfect blue color that I wanted.

So without futhur wait, here are the pictures.

When I first walked out:

They were making fun of me "tucking" (as you can see in picture 1)

Now my girls tried on 6 dresses. None of them made us happy (them, or me) Until we got to the last dress. They walked out of the dressing rooms with the "Uh...I don’t know" look. Until they stepped in front of the mirror. Then boom! Smiles all over for all of us. Now imagine these dresses in the same color blue that my sash is in (Capri)

We had such a good day. I loved it all! I didn’t become a bridezilla. The girls ARE wearing the same dress, but shoes of their choices (as long as they are brown). Some have flats, some of high-heels, and one has flip flops. So we’ll see!

I’m so excited now! :D

Oh, and heres a picture with one of the bouquets I’m using. The blue inthe flowers is darker, but it works!

Beautiful!!!! I love the train and the buttons down the back. It’s simple but perfect, and the sash really completes the look. I love the little bit of color instead of an all white dress. The girls dresses are wonderful, too! They look great on your smaller and your bigger girls, so that is great! It’s going to be a beautiful day! Congratulations!

Lyss, your dress looks BEAUTIFUL on you! Are you not going to wear the slip underneath? Either way, it still looks fantastic! Love it!

Just a suggestion, I know every bride wants to look good from EVERY angle on their wedding, all eyes are on you!

My dress went from bleh to WoW when I purchased the correct undergarments for it! The slip and bra really filled the shape of the dress and kept it looking picture perfect the WHOLE time!

I suggest wearing a padded corset/bra and slip it will keep your dress from bunching! I never had to deal with my dress cutting into my body and creating unsightly "rolls"
