First....sorry I am so late to do this. I just cannot keep up with all the places on the internet! I do not know since coming back what to do first! Watch Vitas videos (hard not to!), update the sites, write accounts of the trip, or sleep!

I know it is pretty dead in here. Feel free to help with that by contributing! For those of you who do not know, we have a forum also at www.vitasworld.info (a Yahoo group). It is not too busy, but has regular activity and international friends.

Well, I am back from China and saw two concerts. Sorry it took me so long to
update. I got back a week ago at 3:00 am, but had finals at school and grading
to do. I did try to throw some updates up at the site.

I am not sure what to write about the concerts actually. By now you all have
seen some of the videos and pictures. Surprising new costumes! And Vitas was
absolutely gorgeous and his voice is unbelievable.

I will say-I have been telling everyone! - that the new white suit with the
sequins does not display in pictures, or even videos that I have seen so far,
the way it appeared live. Oh my goodness, was it beautiful. He came walking
down the stairs with the light on him and with each step, shimmers of light went
up his legs and out from his arms - all over. It was like an angelic
apparition! Just stunningly beautiful.

I can’t tell you who many times I just said "WOW!" That voice!!! I wish he
would stop pulling the microphone away so much. Surely there is nothing to
prove anymore. But maybe he just gets having so much fun he forgets to keep it
at his mouth. ))) He likes to play with it. I swear one time he sniffed it!
We laughed! But sitting where I was, we could hear him when the mic was away.
It is an amazing thing.

La Donna Mobile was a joy! He was so cute with the dance moves. And Tibetan
Plateau and Sea is My Home - an angel singing. Even two concerts was not
enough. They went by so fast! It was over way too soon.

He was a doll with the audience. He pays attention to us, which is very cute.
He waved to my friend once when she was frantically waving her banner and
screaming his name. He worked it into his dance move as he backed away from in
front of us. This was during Opera 1 in Tianjin. I want a video of that so
bad, but I have not found it yet! In Beijing she got him to do a smile
gesture with his finger. It makes it so much more fun that he pays attention to
the audience and responds. The concert would be great without that of course,
but it is endearing and we loved it!

I do not know what else to say....I did see some more of Beijing too. I went to
the zoo and my friend took me to the Summer Palace. Both were awesome. Very
beautiful.

I had one funny experience. I went to the department store alone. And could
not figure out where to checkout. And NOBODY spoke English. They kept pointing
to the floor. Finally I figured out I had to go downstairs. I thought I had
entered at ground level so I was surprised there was a downstairs. I was in
there about an hour just to buy a few things. Ha. But I got some awesome Sushi
on the way out! Yummy!

The only scary thing that happened was a five lane weave in and out through
traffic following our driver’s cousin in Tianjin. OMG. I told them if they
did not slow down, I would not be alive when we got there. I was going to have
a heart attack. I thought I was in a car chase movie. My friend assured me
that our driver was very skilled and they were accustomed to that. Well, I was
still scared! But as they assured we arrived safe and sound, if not a bit shook
up. )))

I was disappointed the new cd release was not to be found. I was hoping to buy
some to bring back for the fans here. But we will watch for it and try to get
some when it is for sale.

That is about it. Vitas is awesome, awesome! They said SOON for the
USA-Sergey said it, and the drummer said it. So I hope it is really soon. And
oh-I did talk to a Russian reporter who asked me if I would go see him in Los
Angeles, so I assume they told her he was going there. Oh yeah, we ended up in
Tianjin newspaper too. They had one for me, but I forgot to get it before i
left, so they will scan me it later.

Oh now I realize I have a little more to say - the Russian reporter. She talked
to me a while and videotaped it. I do not know what she will do with it if
anything. But she asked how I knew about Vitas. She was quite shocked I came all
the way to China to see him and that I had first seen him on Yahoo home page.
I assume there will be an article eventually. Maybe not with anything I said.
But she was talking to Mr. Pudovkin for a long time before that. And also she
stayed and taped a lot of the concert. I think she stayed for the whole thing.
So hopefully she will write a nice article about Vitas.

SO-HOPEFUL TO SEE VITAS IN USA SOOOOOOON!!!!
