FI and I want to do a Chocolate Brown, Cream, and a [Tiffany] Blue. The more I got to looking at other wedding ideas & such, the more I wanted to change my mind. So this is what we’re doing. I’m keeping all of my brown things. Just selling my orange & burgandy things.

I got 5 months to get things together. LOL. OH, and Date change. Instead of October 4th this year, our wedding is October 3rd. We moved it up a day. Everyone wants to rest on Sunday before they go to work on Monday. lol

I love this color combination. What are you going to do with the flowers you already bought? Are you going to keeyour dress with the camo trim or did you not buy that yet? Good luck!!

I decided against the camo trim dress. lol. Though I liked it, I told my mother that I’d rather try on the dress instead of spend $500 on it, and not like it all.

The girl that had made the first bunch of flowers is making my second bunch as we speak. Really just the flowers are the only thing that needed to be changed. I’m going to sell the flowers that I have right now.

I haven’t bought my dress, but I’ve gone and tried dresses on. I believe that I’ve found the one that I really like, but I’m going to try on more to see if I can find one that just REALLY makes me smile.

And I’m still doing the mason jar centerpieces, but I’m using the blue ones that we have here at the house too. Both blue and the clear jars. I think would be pretty.

I am in a color crisis myself.... my colors are light pink and ivory and im using silver as my metal tone but in my bouquet i REALLY want bluebonnets to honor my texas heritage. i am tempted to add bluebonnets to the centerpieces but i’m not super sure. i think it would be nice since my groom will be in his Marine dress blues but at the same time i feel like it might look out of place. i have looked into getting pinkbonnets and ivorybonnets but my florist isnt sure she can get them.

what do y’all think about adding the blue if i cant find the other color bonnets (or even if i can)

I think it would be nice to have a splash of blue added into your flowers, especially because it has a special meaning to you. Our colors were ivory and cornflower blue, but we added a splash of green and purple in the flowers to make them different. In my opinion, it was nice to have a different color thrown in the mix without it having to be carried out thru out the entire wedding. Go for it.

I think the splash of blue would be nice too. I think it would be really pretty. Pink, Ivory, And a little blue & silver. Blue bonnets are pretty. And if you could do all three colors (blue, pink, & ivory) I believe it would be pretty. Go for it!

Thanks-- i will definatly be having it in my bouquet and i will have to see what turns up for the centerpieces... i really liek the bonnet texture against my other flowers (dahlias and lilies) so if i cant find the pink bonnets i will probably use some bluebonnets if only for the texture.

BTW, I like your new colors... what type of cream are you gonna use? like off white or a light tan?
