Hey guys...
I’ve been on depo for a little more than 3 years at this point and it’s totally starting to affect my body in every negative way possible. I’m hoping to get a bone scan this week to see how much damage i’ve done and have decided to discontinue the shots. Here in lies the problem as it does for so many of us. I can’t get my period...I haven’t had it for 3 years and am absolutely terrified about what i’m going to do when it comes back. I used to miss a week of work ever month because I can’t use anything. No tampons, no pads, no pantyliners. There’s not a job in the world that is going to let that fly for me if it goes back to the way it used to be. I don’t know what other options there are....have any of you found anyhting that works for this besides a hysterectomy? I am going to the Dr. today to discuss but i’d love to hear opinions from all of you as well.
Thanks ~~

I am officially off the depo going on 7 days. It has been utter hell since the 13th. I’m barely able to walk and the cramping is out of control. No normal cycle yet though...I’ll keep updating.

I’ve never used depo, I’ve always used the pill, maybe your physician can offer an alternative such as continuous patch use, or continuous pill use (skipping placebos so you won’t have a period). Using a single dose hormone contraceptive pill for long periods of time while skipping the placebos so you skip your period is definitely a possible alternative. I really hope everything works out ok for you when you see your doctor.
As for the not a job in the world that would allow you to miss one week a month. I have some information for you. I work at home through a company called Work at Home United. It is a great way to make a living at home, or to earn a little extra cash on the side. It’s not an MLM, which means you don’t do the Avon or girl scout thing where you take orders and are in charge of delivering products. The company we work for is a "A" business registered with the better business bureau. If you want some information on how you can get started or just want to learn more about what I actually do you should drop me line!!!
Anyone interested, check out my websites or email me at my work email address listed beow.
