I’m selling stuff on Ebid instead of Ebay. The site has been going for over 10 years but sales are still pretty slow. The main reason is that Ebay is the name that always comes to mind, even thoug it is now getting more user unfreindly, and more expensive to use. Promotion and Advertising always go in that direction though, and that probably won’t change much.
ANYWAY - The idea came up to list items which may cause a bit of media interest. The trouble is, a few of those ideas are, well, to be honest a bit hollow. The sort of gimmicky listings that Ebay managed to hit the headlines with years and years ago. (nothing quite as dramatic as a human kidney, or framed tattooes or cool stuff like that though.)
SO - I have decided to offer up ONCE ONLY a printed copy of my novel as it stands at the moment. It’s unfinshed, untidy and unedited. It may even be a steaming pile of poop! So maybe just what they have in mind?
Please feel free to take a peep and make whatever comments you care to.

I’ve been working on it for ages, and I’m trying to build up a bit of pre-interest in it.... (I’t also inspired me to pull my finger out and write a bit more!)
It’s up for auction, and only has a couple of days left to run.
Only 1 bid on this so far - so somebody might end up with this part finished novel for a pound.
So what, I hear you ask, do you get exactly for your money?
Well - for starters you get to read the novel, up to the point it has been written, before anybody else. It may even be a unique opportunity, as I am known to disapear on a tangent, for ages and ages, and nothing gets done.
IF the novel actually ends up being published, you also get sent a proper printed copy (That of course is only an IF!!!!)
I have printed the current state of affairs into a managable A5 size, and have even added a laminated cover and bound it using one of those springy plastic affairs - so it’s actually a book, rather than a whole bundle of loose pages.
I’m still making notes in it, as I’m reading it on the bus, and still doing my editing with it.
If you want - I’ll sign it..... or if you’d prefer - I won’t.
So what are you waitign for?
PS - Here’s a couple of pictures as it is at the moment.

Of course - A LINK to the auction would be helpful wouldn’t it?
