There will be a benefit to help raise money for Tim Bennett & his family. Tim is a fellow driver who has developed cancer. Driversalike.net and The Longhaul Band have teamed up to put on this benefit. Doors will open at 2, The Longhaul Band will perform starting at 2:30 & will play throughout the afteroon. There will be an open jam session also for any musicians who would like to help out. There will be hot dog plates available as well as a raffle for various items being donated by local businesses and free arts & crafts activities throughout the evening for the kids. Clinton Highway Wrecker Service from Knoxville, Tn are also bringing their purple W-900 tri-axle wrecker which has been featured on the Travel Channel & Discovery Channel to be on display as well. For those of you that aren’t familiar with The Longhaul Band, I am a driver with a family band dedicated to helping other drivers. I firmly believe that we are an industry made up of some of the best people in the world & will go out of our way to help one another when we know that another driver needs it.
