As a Star Trek and a manga/anime fan and I don’t need help, thank you shallow people who don’t really know me well and so shut up.

One day, I can be being calm and reasonable as Data but when I’m pissed, I feel like Lore against ignorant who don’t know the meaning of anime. I can feel their pain even for anime fan and actors and staffs linked with this style of animation toward those shallow people and I’m truly connected to them in the real life we live. I’m really serious and ready for a debate which you are enough intellectual as me. Please, real argument like we applied in college with good and logical reasons like the Vulcans. Not lousy and repetitive. Don’t pretending you know everything but you are ignorant or being a black sheeps, or in other term, are wearing a mask and a hypocrite, even me. Please, evolve and we are all adult with rational mind. This is a serious yet mature essay I gave and so be polite.

Give me an intelligent logical answer with few lines justifiable and you has right ot hate or indifferent to anime but more open and perhaps you can be wrong. Do has been picked by bullied or close-mided shallow people since you like Star Trek and many say you needs help but the same thing with anime/manga? What is worst who write those who hate or like their taste? I know people are different from each others and their own taste? If we see different, it is worth to open or not to new taste? Such an anime that become popular in North America. No, I don’t need help, nor my girlfirend nor the anime fans nor the population in Japan, which some criticize them but those are otaku, addicted to anime, which you can find in myspace yes and I find more annoying. How about the roleplayer in the Internet, see .hack//SIGN, this is equal to addictly to read and watch anime/ manga escaping the real life, the miserable life you has or serious issue from your family, which it is not our case? So, stop criticize us and you don’t very much about us in real life and shallow people do making a conclusion to unknown person mostly calling a twit or having a mental problem, and who knew we lied. Yes, I’m sick of it. Also, both of stop watching anime long time ago or read manga for now since nothing good. Anyways, ask you a favor and give your reason behind why any don’t like anime/ manga.

I know many don’t like my taste of anime/manga and they have the right but they don’t give a strong good reasons, mostly in the second degree, the depth behind this form of art and story. According to you, what is anime? Some people will say anime is a cartoon, gay, stupid, childish but so wrong and what Japanese staffs would say or anime voice actors who are expertise in this art? What it differs from cartoon and anime? If it is the same, you are an idiot or I’m a twit? Cartoon is better than anime? According to me, cartoon is for children with basic boring black and white plot or drawing depicting a humorous situation, which often a filler, to help us to relax, when we have nothing to do and prefer to escape the harsh reality, which it’s opposite of real anime, that seems educative and make you smart and wise with grey and complex plot like a surrealism painting. What was the first one you saw and how affect you to hate anime and why? Pokemon, Dragonball, Sailor Moon? If it is the case, there are better and intelligent anime and less filler, such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, or Ghost in the Shell. From Answers.com, the definition of anime is a style of animation developed in Japan, characterized by stylized colorful art and often for teenagers and adult themes and it is not porn, like some of you think.

Why many of you hate anime with good reasons? Is the character are dumb, emotional, bad drawing with big eyes and small noses, the plot are stupid or hard to understand, anime is childish, which it is opposite from this definition? A shallow people or anime haters would says but it is important is the inside. According to Urban Dictionary, anime haters are people whom dislike anime without having an idea of what each anime is about, and without watching anime. They just hate it because pop culture tries to either emulate or make fun of it, so they decide to be a big part of pop culture. Does the definition fits you because anime is for children and many us won’t grow as a real adult, of the fear of Japanese invasion in your country, of the fear to be an outcast though anime seem quite popular nowadays or it looks stupid or gay or typical for emo queer in your first glance? What is more mature anime like Cowboy Bebop or cartoon like South Park? I know many anime-haters often give a lousy even babyish argument to hate anime but insufficient even with their close mind, that they force them to be arrogant even in their childish behaviour and hide their ignorance. Admit you don’t know and try to be open mind even after a disaster encountering a new thing. Just to say, not amused at all and close to be in rage like Lore, I have been nicknamed before by stupid jocks in high school or college, calling me fag or emo queer because of my taste but I learned to defense my self in more ethnical, mature and logical like Data in Star Trek instead of my fist. Brains over brawn. Like I learn anime, real life is full of crap that you has no choice to survive on your own and be strong and I did.

According to Urban Dictionary, what anime haters are missing out on and I had seen honestly.
1. Serial Experiments Lain.
2. Texhnolyze.
3. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
4. Neon Genesis Evangelion
5. Cowboy Bebop
6. Rurouni Kenshin
7. Witch Hunter Robin

What it is different from cartoon, which honestly is a filler with a basic plot for simple people? Anime has the continuous plot ables to understand the evolution of the character, which first hate but we grow later because of the character pain in the past and his or her mistake, the characters learned but how long the others can trust and give the guilty ones a second chance, like in Rurouni Kenshin, my number favourite anime/manga. Also, anime/manga contains the balance between the right and wrong, the concept of philosophy, which it got applied in absurd way, like in Battle Royale based on Hobbes about Human being selfish and violent in nature, a serious issue which the ethics or laws got violated like pedophile but actual real love such in X, cloning, the complex theme and even the controversy based in real life like homosexuality such in X, incest in Angel Sanctuary but we rarely see in our daily normal life except in the news. Because of that, we force to think deeply and find the pro and con, though life we live is bit like in anime, grey and encounter mostly to the sad rejected people, like Shinji in Evangelion, Kyo in Fruits Basket.

Here some example to you to debate in your head. In Death Note, what do you think of capital punishment in grey aspect? In Gundam SEED, should you kill your old best friend, who is your current enemy and gain your honor from your military you are in or refuse this mission in a disgraced way and even to your father? In Evangelion and X, should we should wipe the entire population of Earth and restart to zero for a new better world? In Gunslinger Girl, should they take children as a soldier, a killing machine but why in real life, some country in Africa did that? In Elfen Lied, the character Nyu, a strange species on Earth, has the right to take this action ot kill people as vengeance and if you go in a second degree, what do you think of animal cruelty? Anyways, it helps to think and strive to a better person from our wrong doing or understand the motivation or the pain of character and what we can help them or stop this madness to ruin our world.

A lot of anime is grey, philosophical and you must choose which side good but it is hard. Anime is equal to take a course of philosophy and moral to understand the message. Many anime contains great and positive values such love, friendship, strength, hope, happiness, tolerance and acceptation, which help to a better person though the real life is hard. Also, we learn in anime the consequences of our action and won’t do the same in real life, be more empathetic to others mostly the weak rejected ones, never look the outside of other, such meet a stranger or annoying in the Internet and how trust others. Is betrayed your friend it is a good idea so you have your ego, glory and power? See in Gungrave. Overall, anime is like fable, a storytelling but more mature and complex to understand that you must listen carefully the quotes of the character and pay attention to their feeling and the pain that you might feel sorry, like Misato the alcholic who wear a mask for her insecurity in Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Sadly, this lonely painful person in anime reflects must in real life mocked by shallow people and you can meet them in real life and feel connected? Maybe it is you and we has been a bad day often picked by bully, jocks, shallow close-minded who hate our taste, such anime, Star Trek, which are both the same mostly the annoying fan who live in the fantasy Universe and escape the reality and not me nor my girlfriend , we have life, mostly school, family and part time job and we enjoy the real life as adventure and see how can compare the character in anime.

You can compare in Star Trek, especially the inorganic race, like EMH, Data, Lore who are like Chii in Chobits, Motoko in Ghost in the Shell and Alita in Battle Angel Alita, the Sohma family in Fruits Basket, Kiba in Wolf’s Rain, Robin in Witch Hunter Robin, Eureka in Eureka Seven and the Coordinators in Gundam SEED. Those character have the hard time to fit in and wish to accept as a living being. Other, like Spock, B’Elanna who is different from their own kind and Human. Spock is like Inuyasha, Van Fanel in Escaflowne hanging with Humans.

Acoording to you, is The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park are better than anime? What did you learn from these cartoons? According it is intelligent, meaningful and able to us to wise and insightful in real life beside laughing at someone?
In Sailor Moon, which it is popular, what did you learn? What the values in this anime? Friendship? Strength? Respect? Inside that counts the most? Importantly, what is right and what is wrong, wisdom, the same you see in Star Trek?

Just to say, Star Trek is close to manga or anime form, because of the valuable message to teach us such as against racism, interaction with others culture, how men abuse technology, and I know so character are grey like Lore, which I don’t think he is evil and remind just like Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist when the military are after him. Q, which reminds like Kaworu in Evangelion, an Angel who desire to restart the population Earth since Humans are selfish, arrogant and close-minded to others. The Klingons who ressemble a lot like those samurai in Japanese Feudal Era, with honor and bravery but when comes to failure, a ritual suicide. For Klingons, I suggest Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Vagabond, The Blade of Immortal and Samurai Champloo and maybe this will teach you the way of the true warrior with the sword of honor, the katana. Wait, Star Trek just created a manga version. Maybe take this as a first step? Also, many Star Trek staffs enjoy anime like Ranma 1/2.

Did you know those are fan of Star Trek, must understand the anime fan how they went through, often get picked by bully and close-minded superficial people. Most of these two are for nerd, great I’m one of them. Have an empathy for the anime fans and go see many great intelligent anime with valuable lesson in real life, which you miss and need. There are many site about list of anime and manga to see in the Internet. If you need help to find a good one, send a message to me. Add Crispin Freeman, Monica Rial, which they owe their myspace and ask question.

Therefore, I like anime and manga because to my open mind, my logic to think deeply, logically and philosophically and to develop calmly my strong serious argument against my adversary, my development to be sensitive, self-aware around untrustworthy people, wise and mature after learning the moral in anime or manga.
Manga help me giving a lot of creativity and allowing to have very good grade by never giving up and learning your mistake since high school to University, which I study in biochemistry and I finish this year in a master degree.

I’m sure in Star Trek’s world, many characters might like anime and manga. Just like this Data, who is a fan of Rurouni Kenshin. Maybe Q, which he would enjoy Neon Genesis Evangelion just like Commander Misato Kuwashima.

Here the site where anime fans who got bullied, mocked or criticized by anime haters, shared their awful experience and write their argument how to influence these Naturals to be open-minded to the idea of Coordinators. Analogy from Gundam SEED when this anime talks about tolerance and is reflecting much the tragic event of 9/11 and the chaotic war in Irak and is it good to create super humans who has been genetically modified since as a baby in a tube for a better mankind?

Site against anime haters, who start first the war, to you to visit as an experience and an open spirit:

What do you think and did change your mind?

Lore the Guardian:
Evidently since I don’t watch or obsess over various types of anime I’m both a shallow minded and arrogant individual. If that’s the case, then so be it. Now... I know that the fact that I don’t watch Anime makes me in your eyes to be somewhat less intelligent than the two of you. And in both of your eyes, I know that regardless of what I say or try to explain ooc,as far as you’re both concerned I hate anime. That opinion of me is unlikely to change anytime soon and I know I’m not the only one whom the two of you take pride in labeling as shallow and closed minded and now, less intelligent.

Let me tell you both again, here for the record. Not watching and not wanting to be forced into watching Anime does not make anyone either shallow, closed minded or arrogant. Anime is not something everyone loves, as disappointing as that must be to the two of you who live for it. If someone doesn’t share your love, don’t bother sharing it with them. People don’t have to like the same things you all do in order to be considered intelligent. Liking anime is not the source of genius. Get over it and stop insulting the intelligence of other users just because they don’t share your undying love for Anime.

For the record, I did not HATE anime. I was indifferent to it. I responded to a bulletin that had "Important. Serious please" in the title, because it was labeled as such I really did think it was an important bulletin and wasted time clicking on it only to find it was yet another ’Name your favorite anime and why’ bulletin. That is not important. That’s not relevant to role play. That’s not a major situation affecting your characters. It’s an irrelevant poll.
Therefore who cares?

Do learn the difference between hating Anime and being indifferent to it. You are both the ones with the problems. Not any of us. When you label a bulletin ’important’ make sure it is, or there is a ’anime’ somewhere in the title.

I didn’t hate anime, but thanks to the two of you I’m starting to develop a strong dislike for the entire subject. So I’ll just let the two of you get back to saying that I must be deprived of thought provoking television, living in my sad and depressed little world because I’m deprived of the intellectual benefits of being obsessed with anime. The world I live in is reality, and despite what you would love to think I’m neither sad nor depressed. I don’t miss Anime not being in my life. So sorry to disappoint you all.

Sariel:
first, i hate public ooc wars. and i don’t want to have an ooc war now. but in this case i agree with lore. i don’t know what i can say about anime because somebody tried already to saddle me with anime - with force. meanwhile i hate anime too. it has nothing to do with anime. the reason why i hate anime meanwhile is that people tries to convince me to love anime, by force. i admire the effort in this case. really. many thanks for all comments and messages. but meanwhile i don’t know what i can answer. anime is excess for me meanwhile. i’m already working for a starter for this situation. please don’t send me comments/messages about horoscopes and anime and another chinese stuff in excess - i don’t know what i can answer because i’m not involved in this things. i don’t see anime and i don’t read horoscopes. because i have not(!) an interest in such things. a few messages/comments per months about such thing are okay. but please don’t spam me with such things. you only will have more work in this case - and you send such messages/comments for nothing. you can delete me from your friend list if you want. i cannot change it.

OMG!!! It’s the twits week XD Just like you said, cause of those 2, I’m starting to hate anime! I’d rather be on the Rag the whole year than watching Anime!! =D

Dark Jedi Tatum Utara
Wow, talk about a couple of communist dictators. Those two seriously need to get some counseling.

†Spencer -=Half Blood Princess=
Honk if you agree with Lore! Who says anime is a cartoon.
