I believe God is the Sovereign Father/Creator of all mankind, and that human being’s are literal son’s and daughter’s of the Creator. . I believe That the divine nature of God can also be better understood by man if he regards himself as a child of God and looks up to the Paradise Creator as a true spiritual Father.
"The Infinite is most excellent in that he imparts himself to men. He is the beginning and the end, the Father of every good and perfect purpose." "With God all things are possible; the eternal Creator is the cause of causes."

I think if I were born somewhere else in the world that indoctrination of Christianity wouldn’t have been so strong. Unfortunately it would just be the indoctrination of another religion.
I think there is no god that many people describe in religious books, but I don’t mind people believing in those gods. It’s when they deny science be taught in schools, deny homosexuals their rights, and commit violent acts in the name of their god where I begin to get upset. Most religious people most certainly do pick and choose what they want to believe in their religious books.
If I had to name anything with the name "god" it would be energy. As energy can not be created nor destroyed and it likely always existed. We cant grasp the concept of something coming from nothing because we are governed by the material laws found of this Earth. We came from this Earth.
Does space have walls? Most certainly not, but our human brain can’t fathom this in the same way we can’t grasp energy coming from nothing. If there is a god, where did that god come from and so on. I’m afraid that we will never know, but what we do know is perhaps scarier than what we don’t know. For example, we do know that humans have a basic need to create superstition and religion. We do know our personality and everything that makes us human is stored in our brains. What happens when our brains die? Will it be like going to sleep? Like it was before we were born? Should the fear of death be strong enough to create myths for comfort?
I think as long as we each hold the position that if you have an extraordinary claim, then you better have extraordinary evidence to back that claim. I will always research the facts and maintain a healthy mind for observation of the world around me, for better or for worst. At least people know that they have my word, and they know why I have such strong opinions in favor of science and reason.
Lastly a nice quote:
"Live a good life. If there are gods & they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. I am not afraid." -Marcus Aurelius
