Who are we?

My Freedom Fighters is an organization started by Sarah Kidd, a competitive figure skater, who has a desire to give back to those risking their lives every day in order to fulfill their calling of protecting and defending our country. This holiday season we are looking to send Christmas packages to several soldiers who have joined the My Freedom Fighters organization and who are serving our country in Iraq or Afghanistan.

My Freedom Fighters organization is overwhelmed with the many needs and requests of our soldiers fighting overseas and welcomes your donations and package the items in a creative fashion that is sent via priority flat rate from the US Postal Service. Depending on the size of the box, charges to send a Christmas box can range from $l0 to $12 per package. Monetary donations are accepted to help send gifts.

Requested Items:

Soldiers are requesting support whether you believe in the war or not. They need hugs, love, support to stay focused. Soldiers are requesting letters from anyone, pictures from the states and anything showing we care! Other suggestions below:

*Anything showing holiday cheer
*Hats for warmth on off hours
*Mini scrapbooks
*Peppered Jerky, Beef Jerky, Slim Jims
*Chips, Cheetohs, crackers, cookies, Chex Mix, Trail Mix, etc.
*Christmas candy
*Candy such as smarties, skittles, chocolate (during winter), Fun Dip, Mike ‘n Ikes, Jolly Ranchers (the soldiers go on many missions and like having something to suck on during their travel time), Nerds, Hot Tamales, Fruit Snacks, Lollipops, Blow Pops, Gummies, Gum
*Bic Lighters
*Small flashlights
*Blankets
*Toys such as yo yos, frisbees, hackie sacks, puzzles
*Magazines, paperback books, paper and envelopes, nice writing pens
*Camera
*Fun items that will make them smile. :)
