If the MLS needs anything right now its diversification in their players, namely for quality sake. Lets own up to it USA, were good at a lot of things, but in the international scale football (the kind primarily played with the foot) isn’t one of them. Diversifying our league will 1: Make the league more skillful overall and more enjoyable to watch. 2: Force US players to either step up their game, and produce truly talented players capable of playing in European leagues. 3: The fact that we have diversity in our league, combined with skilled homegrown players with only add legitimacy to the MLS. My hope is that by doing this the MLS won’t be the retarded step cousin to football, equivalent to the English League 2 or worse.
