I have realized that how a person views life determines their priorities, goals, relationships, values, and expectations. My life metaphor is that I view life as a garden that even though it is MY responsibility to tend it and make sure it grows in the way that I want it to grow, however a garden CANNOT grow without sunshine or special light to nourish it and provide nutrients other than the kind given in plant food or naturally in the soil. God is my sunshine for the garden of my life. I have to tend my own life through living up to my responsibilities and priorities in proactive action, but God gives me life, direction, peace, and nourishment for my life through his light, but I can’t get anywhere without first taking up the spade, digging a hole in the soil, dropping seeds, and tending the plant along it’s life responsibly. I came up with this thought thinking that I should write this down so I won’t forget the meaning behind the metaphor, and share w/ others so they might understand my views and they might be inspired at the same time. -jj

Mine is a movie. I see my life as a movie that’s unfolding and I know that it’s gonna have a happy ending.
