I’m looking for a plus sized tea length white dress and I want the toile under it to be black. where do I even start? you know those commercials with the parents trying to fond thier daughter a cell phone (moms fit into teens jeans dreams!) I feel like that when I try online.

I know a lot of girls who are dying the toile underneath... Its really easy.

I don’t think I’d want to risk messing up my dress....

Is the crinoline attached to the dress?

Most are not.... that is why many brides are dying them.

If you cannot do that.. then yes I would suggest a seamstress, she could sew black into the existing layers.
