We’re going to set up a "Street Team" soon.

I myself had a little confusion over what exactly a "Street Team" was . . . I thought at first that it was just an ’updated’ term for a fan club, but it’s more than that. I’ve since learned from some other artists sites exactly what a Street Team is about . . .

Generally speaking, what I’ve seen is that a "Fan Club" is a group of fans who pay a little money (which you don’t, obviously) to receive some ’goodies’, discounts and special access etc. Whereas a "Street Team" is a group that helps promote the artist in various ways (word of mouth, internet, hanging posters for upcoming shows, etc.) and in return they earn ’points’ toward shows, CD’s, swag etc.

I guess that they’re separate (at least that’s the way they’re treated on the sites that I looked at, and that probably makes sense overall).

Just thought that I would bring up the topic, and open the communication for your thoughts . . . as always!
