Leg Updates
Congressional Schedule in Flux
The Congressional session is being extended to address the financial crisis as well as the FY2009 Appropriations Bill. The current fiscal year ends on September 30, and without some type of Congressional action to approve funding for the new year, some government functions would shut down. At this time, none of the 12 appropriations bills have been passed.
