Thank you for placing your class reunion add in the What’s Happening part of The Dalles Chronicle. It helped me find you. Also, thank you for taking my phone call the other day. Here is the notice about the archive museum that I have for The Dalles School District. I fyou happen to be in town for any reason before your reunion, please give me a call at 541-296-6546 and I can take you to the high school and show you what I have. The best time is in the summer since everything is on display for reunions. I share the museum space with the staff as a lunch/lounge area for the teachers.

Please remember I am also the AFS Exchange student coordinator for the Columbia Gorge Chapter. If need be, I can help you find AFS exchange students and get current address for them.

I hope you will advertise the museum and put it on your activity list for the Saturday of your reunion. Also, FYI, if any classmates attended Joseph G. Wilson as an elementary student, that school was torn down last summer and is now a housing subdividion on 12th St. I will be getting a DVD of that demolition as photographed by a neighbor to the school.

Please do keep in touch.

Sincerely,
Rymmel Lovell
Museum Curator

I am a etired teacher from J.G. Wilson Elem. 1970 - 2001.

P.S. What I am missing in the museum are photos and memorabilia from Dry Hollow Elem. No one kept class or student photos. If any classmates have their own class photo collection, I could use a copy to develop albums, plus Viking T-shirts or other momentos. Give my contact information to anyone interested. Thanks.
