Fellow Twilighters! Let’s show and tell Stephenie just why we love her and her works! Share with us how you came upon Twilight and/or The Host and why we love it them so much!

Make it brief, make it long! Let’s just let Stephenie know why we care!

I have been on a private mom’s board for years now. Somehow they lost the normal site and I lost contact with most of them after they switched to another board. I got contact months and months later and so many of the members were obsessed with Twilight and made these amazing collages with some beautiful quotes. Me, being the nosy person I am, asked them what it was all about and they told me. I had wanted to get it but never got around to it. I just found the book this past weekend and in less than five days I have already read Twilight twice and New Moon. I am so excited to get the other two tomorrow morning and finish those by the end of the weekend.

I fell in love with her writing because she is wordy like me. I also love how sensual it is, but not at all sexual. To me that REALLY is the best kind. I love how you really get to know her characters and like them, even the ones you want to hate.

Most of all I like that I have my own little Edward. That is my son’s middle name and I am glad it is making a slight comeback. Although he is more of my own little Jacob. He has dark native american skin, coal black eyes and a FIERCE temper.

I can’t wait to read more of hers. She is an incredibly talented woman and I love how it all came to her in a dream.

Ok, well it all atarted when my sister and other people at my school were reading Twilight. My sister bugged and bugged me to read it. She wouldnt take no for an answer. Besides, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. So, I started to read Twilight and I loved it. Then I found out about New Moon and read that. I read them both in like a weeks time or less. Then I found out that Eclipse was coming out that summer, and that I would have to wait a few months. I was sad, but excited that the series was going to continue.
My sister and my friends found out that Stephenie Meyer was going to have a book signing about 30 minutes away from my house. So, we reserved our books and went when they came out. We then got our wristbands to go to the signing. The days of the signing was my sister’s birthday. We waited like 4 hours to make sure that we would be able to sit down when Stephenie Meyer talked about Eclipse. Then came the signing.... I was so happy. I got all three books signed :D And then I got a I heart Edward button. I was so excited.
I also heard about Twilight becoming a movie and I was super excited. And then when it was in filming, I found out about TwilightMoms. I was a teenager, so I just was a lurker around the site. But then a few months later, TwilightTeens became available, so I signed up. Now I am a moderator on it.
Anyway, and when Breaking Dawn came out, I went to the Midnight release and got my copy at 12:01. I went with my sister and about 6 of my friends. It was a lot of fun. Oh, and I made a shirt and everything. Much fun :D And I love how Stephenie ended the series, but I really hope there is more.

Anyway, the reason why I fell so much in love with the Twilight series is because I love how Stephenie rights. Its like you are seeing the world of Twilight through Bella’s eyes. It reminds me of some things that I am going through at times (no, I dont have a vampire bf, obviously). But like its cool being able to easily relate to the characters. Its so descriptive. And Stephenie is such a nice person.

Love the series, and I dont know what I would have done without it :D
