you guys should check out the episode of "Batman Beyond" where the villian (the one that has the power to hypnotize you and create hallucinatory, virtual worlds for you ( i forgot his name, but he has a full-body, skin-tight, red and black costume)) is involved with some virtual reality game in which the "player" goes into a transparent cylindrical tank filled w/ a liquid and becomes fully immersed in a fabricated virtual world.
