This’ll be kind of a fun game. Somebody name one of the AVGN episodes, and then I’ll watch it to find all the inside references in the episode. When I say inside reference, I mean references to previous AVGN episodes.

Well, that was the very first episode, so I can’t really do that one.

If you’re gonna request an episode, I’d reccomend a later episode. I’ll give you guys an example:

For the Intellevision video:

-The Nerd makes a note that Matel Electronics, the company that made the Intellevision, also made the Power Glove, which he had previously reviewed.
-When the Nerd complains about the controller, he notices the numeric keypad and calls it a phone. He made the same kind of comment for the controller for the Atari 5200.
-When playing "Space Battle", the Nerd says that you shoot blueberry pancakes, kinda like how in the Bible Games video where he says in "Bible Buffet" that you have exploding pancakes as a weapon.
-When playing "Frog Bog", the Nerd says it’s the same as the Atari 2600’s "Frogs and Flies" with better graphics, but "Frogs and Flies" is more fun to play. He also makes a note that it’s a fine example that better graphics don’t make a better game, which is what he said on his 32X review when comparing the 32X version of "Doom" to the Super NES version.
-When he puts in "Space Hawk" and says "Everything begins with ’Space’", it’s kind of a reference to his first "Chronologically Confused" video when he makes the comment on how "Resurrection" is an overused word for a sequel.
-His review on "Boxing" is similar to his review of "Flight to Egypt" in his Bible Games review.
-When he immitates the voice module saying "Beeee Seventeen Bawmber", it’s a reference to when he immitates the Ghostbusters game saying "Gershbushders!"

And, just for the heck of it, here are the inside references from the Colecovision video:

-The Nerd’s complaint about the Colecovision’s AC adapter is similar to his complaints about AC adapters in general in his 32X video.
-His complaint about the game’s keypad is the same as his complaint about the Atari 5200 and Intellevision controllers.
-He mentions that the Colecovision is compatible for Atari and Sega Genesis controllers. He also said in his Atari 5200 video that a Sega Genesis controller would work on an Atari 2600.
-His talk on Rocky is a flashback to his talk on Rocky for Sega Master System.
-In the "Campaign ’84" game, he makes a note that you can ban shoes with laces and refers to his episode of "You Know What’s Bullshit?" where he rants about shoelaces.
-The Nerd’s outro to this video is similar to his outro to his 32X video where he says he just wanted to give a brief recap of the two systems.

That’s about all the references I can think of from those two.

At the beginning of the Indiana Jones video, the theme song from the beginning of every episode plays

You totally lost me there. That’s also incredibly incorrect. The Indiana Jones video is one of the few Nerd videos that doesn’t play the AVGN theme song. Also, how is this a reference to previous AVGN episodes?

Don’t know why this group is so lowly attended. Just for fun, I’m gonna put up some inside references to his Superman videos:

- At the beginning, when he introduced "Superman" on Atari’s actual gameplay, he says, "Yeah...this sucks, " which is a reference to what he said on "Boxing" in his Intellevision review.
- The Nerd mentions the "Superman" theme not being played in the NES game like in his "Ninja Turtles" review, which didn’t have the TMNT theme.
- In the NES game, he makes a note that the dialogue boxes cannot be cancelled or sped up kinda like in "Castlevania II".
- He makes a note about the size of the telephones, desks and people, and that if they’re in the background, they’re even bigger. This is like what he said about the size of the trees in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
- The Nerd mentions that the NES game is one of those games where Up is jump, which is in numerous games he’s played in the past like "Karate Kid" and "Master Chu".
- He mentions that Superman has all these powers like in Mega Man. He’s found a lot of Mega Man similarities in the games he’s reviewed.
- The Nerd brings up how nobody has anything usefeul to say in the game and refers to "Castlevania II" having the same problem.
- When he sees "Zod Gang", he says it’s a misprint compared to General Zod, kinda like how in "Ghostbusters" on the Sega Master System says "Gorza" instead of "Gozer".
- He assumes that the lady with the deformed head is the girl in Zod’s gang, much like how he assumed that the weird black figure in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is the bad guy from the movie.
- The Nerd makes a note that you don’t make a game about stocks, taxes or politics, kinda like in his Colecovision review where he said "Campaign ’84" was the worst idea concept for a game ever.
- He makes a note that the Commodore 64 version of "Superman" is better than the Nintendo version, but that’s not saying much. He said the same thing about "Ghostbusters" on Sega Master system and "Ghostbusters 2" on Nintendo being better than "Ghostbusters" on Nintendo, but they still sucked.
- He makes a note that the Atari and Sega Genesis controllers work on the Commodore 64 as well as the Colecovision.
- He makes a note of how horrible the control is on "Superman 64", which is just about as bad as the controls on "Independence Day".
- He makes a note on how easily you get stuck kinda like in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".
- The way he makes fun of Superman’s punches is similar to how he makes fun of the poses on "Virtua Fighter".
