Some thought has gone into this, and since a micronation seldom has
the wherewithal to train its own armed forces, be it proclaimed that
all freedom loving members of any armed forces, whether
still active, retired, or those who served a stint and got out (as I
did...4 years Navy), AND members of ROTC or JROTC are hereby offered the following..
the branches of the Palatinate Armed Forces will be broken down into
the following three branches. 1. The Landwher (army) 2. The Ulhans
(cavalry) and 3. the Sturmtruppe (Stormtroops) the last branch is
NOT to be confused with the SA of the Nazi Party; that really
translated into Storm SECTION, and were no more than street thugs.
THIS Sturm truppe will be the elite forces.
Of those entering the Landwher, for Captain and above, upon being
granted citizenship, they will automatically be elevated one grade
and awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class(PROOF OF RANK REQUIRED). Warrant
Officer through 1st Lt. will stay in their present grade. Staff Sgt.-
Master Sgt. are automatically elevated one grade. Private-Sgt. 1st
Class remain in the same grade.
The Ulhans will follow the above protocol, as will the Sturmtruppe, who will be awarded a Sturmtruppe badge; bronze for those
who have never been in combat, silver for those who have.

Those entering the Landwher that are ages 18-20 will enter as cornets, and
as ensigns in the Ulhans. Sturmtruppe entrants will be Unterofficers,
until 5 each has been achieved. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS, on a
case-by-case basis. PROOF OF AGE REQUIRED. All are required to read
Sun Tzu’s "Art of War" and von Clausewitz’ "On War" and "The
Principles of War."
As for uniforms, I would like all to one day have a dress uniform, and
am looking around for good companies to recommend. Combat uniforms are
up to you, as long as they are kept neat and in good repair, not worn
sloppily. All should one day own a working, LEGAL firearm!
