only reason why the top 5 are notified early is because there is paperwork involved that they have to get together and arrange, fax, etc. it has nothing to do with being fair

I was wondering the same thing but maybe it is truly a popular vote and if that is the case, it could be anyone who got the most votes.

Although the voting stage starts again on the 12th,
the ULTIMATE decision is made by the judges.
When the voting is done, the person with the least amout of votes, still could win.
They want to see who america thinks is best (by voting) but it’s up to the judges to decide who THEY think is best for the competition.
So, I’d have to say it’s deff not a popularity contest (which we all thought it would be at one point)
Judges have the final say. Even the highest voted video may not win.
It’s all in God’s hands.

LOL, everyone just wait until the may 12, i’ve been through this before and its too easy to throw everyone in a frenzy lol.
everybody just wait i say. they can amend their rules of course but everybody just wait until the top 5 videos are posted. although people get notifications before just wait until admin announces it.
