Thank you to everyone who has registered for the reunion! We are going to be holding a drawing to give away the cost of attending the Friday and Saturday night events for two people (a $60 value)! To be entered in the drawing all you need to do is register on the web site before June 9th and be sure that your payment is received by June 16th. For those of you that have already registered you are already entered in the drawing. How to Register
We have created a form that will allow you to register and pay online (via PayPal). Payments are secure and are deposited directly to our class bank account. To access it simply go to: http://www.mhsclassof1998.com/register.php select your name from the list and enter the password you provided when you signed up (if you don&8217;t remember entering a password it will be the e-mail address you signed up with). If you have problems logging in just let me know and I can change your password to whatever you would like.
Registration Deadline
After the registration deadline of June 9th the cost for each event will increase $5 per person. You will be able to register/pay for each event up until that event time EXCEPT for the golf tournament. The Legion needs to bring in golf carts as well as have tee off times for everyone so after the deadline you will not be able to register to golf. This means we need to receive your payment by June 16th or you will not receive a tee off time!
Contact Information
When you are registering for events you can also update your contact
information. Please remember that your name, city, state, spouse&8217;s name, children&8217;s names, and activities for the last 10 years will be publically available on the web site. If you decide you want to attend more events you can come back and update your registration but you will only be charged for what has not been paid.
Hotels
We also will have blocks of hotels available at several local hotels for a discounted rate that will be released soon, so make sure you book a hotel if you need one now. For more information see the hotel info page on our web site at: http://www.mhsclassof1998.com/hotels.php

10 Year Reunion Dates: Friday June 27th & Saturday June 28th
We are including all class of ’98 classmates, whether you graduated with us or not, all are welcome!
Friday June 27th - Iowa BBQ Championship
Friday night we are going to have a tent at the Iowa BBQ Championship (http://www.marshalltownbbq.com/) that is held every year at Riverview Park. The BBQ Championship is a family friendly event with lots of great barbeque food and live entertainment. We will have a tent set aside specifically for our class reunion. We will be providing beer (4 kegs) until we run out! There will be plenty of food available from different cooks available for purchase, however we are not allowed and therefore will NOT be providing any food or additional beverages. Cost for this event will be: $10 per adult, and no charge for children. The event starts at 5 pm, at which point our tent should be set up, and runs until 11 pm. Bands will play at 6 pm (Lincoln Highway Band) and 8 pm (The Rumbles) with food available from 5 - 10 pm.
Saturday June 28th (morning/afternoon) - Golf Tournament & Aquatic Center
Starting early Saturday morning we will be holding a golf tournament at the American Legion Golf Course with fun events like longest putt, longest drive, etc.. Prizes will be awarded for various events. Costs should be around $40 per person (including a golf cart). Exact times are still to be determined but the first tee off times are likely to be around 7 or 8 am to accommodate everyone wishing to play.
For families with children or those not wishing to golf we suggest going to the Marshalltown Family Aquatic Center (http://www.ci.marshalltown.ia.us/CityGov/Departments/Parks/Aquatic%20Center/generalinfor.htm). The aquatic center does not have any kind of group discounted rate so people attending this event will need to pay at the door.
Saturday June 28th (evening) - Catered Dinner
Saturday evening we will have a cocktail hour and catered dinner at the American Legion Hall. Zoske’s Barbeque in State Center will be catering this event. Cost will be $20 per adult and $5 per child. Drinks will be available starting at 5 pm, with dinner around 7 pm. Drinks will be available until 11 pm or midnight.
