Greetings in the Name of Jesus, today our Sunday Morning Sunrise is focused on Memorial Day.
Lets start out our Service with this song - God Bless the USA
http://www.alighthouse.com/usa.htm
If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars,
to be living here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA
Now it’s come time for the Message
Memorial Day: The Cost of Freedom is Blood
Memorial Day: “The Cost of Freedom is Blood”
I Corinthians 11:23-26
Memorial day is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service. It traces its roots back to 1868 when General John Logan, of the Grand Army of the Republic, declared May 30th as a day of remembrance. Flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The day was originally called “Decoration Day.” It is sometimes called “Poppy Day” because artificial red poppies, which were made by disabled veterans, are sold. The money is used to benefit servicemen in need. In December of 2000, Congress passed a resolution which asks all Americans “to voluntarily and informally observe a Moment of Remembrance and respect,” at 3:00 local time.
Tomorrow is the official Memorial Holiday. Many people see it as just a 3-day weekend. But for those who have lost someone because of war or military action, it means much more than a day off. In fact, every American ought to recognize this day in honor of those who spilled their blood to make America what she is today--free, strong, and a nation worth fighting for.
Because men have died for this country, we have the right to preach God’s word freely. We have the right to live at peace in our own homes. We have the right to pursue peace, prosperity and happiness. Memorial Day is a time when we remember a sobering fact: The Cost of Freedom is Blood.
Once a year we observe Memorial Day. But for the Christian, every week is a celebration of the Memorial of Christ. Jesus fought the armies of Hell so that we can be set free. For the Christian, every Sunday is a Memorial Day.
On Memorial Day we (1) Mourn the Loss
When we remember loved ones who have died, we often tend to think of the “If Only’s:” “If only I had told him I loved him.” “If only I had been with her at the end.” “If only I hadn’t spoken so harshly.” We replay our regrets over and over in our minds. But we ultimately know those “If Only’s” would not change a thing.
On the Lord’s Memorial Day, we can’t help but think of a big“If Only.” “If only we had not sinned He would not have had to die.” The truth is, we are to blame. When we come to the Lord’s Memorial, we stand before a mirror and face the truth in Romans 3:23: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
We realize once again: I am the one to blame. I caused all his suffering. He was humiliated, beaten, spit upon, and treated as a sinner because I am a sinner. And we know that if there only been one sinner who was lost, He still would have died. His love is that great.
Mourning the loss is the first thing we must do as we observe the Memorial of our Lord. At Communion, the first thing we do with the bread is to break it. Whether we break it with our hands or we chew it, we break the bread. This symbolizes the fact that our sin broke the body of Christ.
On Memorial Day we also (2) Remember the Lives
Part of emotional healing in the process of grief is to remember the life of the loved one who has passed. The Headstones we put on graves are a testimony to how we remember these loved ones. Let me share with you some epitaphs I have read on Headstones:
· Gone So Soon
· Beloved Son
· Though we will miss you much, we know you rest with God.
· Safe in the Arms of Jesus
· Gone, but Not Forgotten
All of these messages tell us that these people are dearly remembered. Our Communion Tables are inscribed with these words: Do this in remembrance of me. Every week, we set aside time to remember Jesus.
1 Corinthians 11:24 says When he had given thanks, he broke the bread and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."
What do we remember about Jesus? We remember his life and teachings. But more than that, we remember His sacrificial death.
At the Lord’s Table we do more than walk around a Monument and grieve. We also remember his Victory over Death. We remember His resurrection. We have fellowship with a living Savior as our hearts reach out by faith.
Lastly, on Memorial Day we (3) Give Thanks for the Sacrifice
All the heroic acts on battlefields throughout history have made our country what it is today. We enjoy freedom and wealth that are un-equaled. But our freedom and our luxuries have come at a great price. We enjoy freedom in America because men have died for our country. The cost of freedom is blood.
In a similar way, Jesus gave his life to set us free from slavery of sin and death. For this we must be eternally thankful. In 1 Corinthians 11:25 Jesus says: In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me."
When we drink the juice, we give thanks for our forgiveness. The juice symbolizes the blood of Jesus that He shed to cleanse our hearts from sin. Today as we come to the Memorial Table of Christ, we will take time to
1-Mourn the loss of the body of Christ
2-Remember the life, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus
3-Give heartfelt thanks for His sacrifice.
It is through the blood of Christ that we are Redeemed. It is Jesus who grants to us mercy and peace through His broken body and His blood.

Now join in with us as we sing together a song called Just As I Am
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Message: Stay in formation!
Hebrews 10:25 - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Ever wonder why geese in the Fall fly in a “V” formation and not just randomly? Remember that old United Airlines ad, “Fly the friendly skies of United”? Geese know that to complete the long trip south, they have to fly united. Scientists tell us that flying in formation increases their flight range by 71 percent. Air waves created each time a bird flaps its wings provide an uplift for the next one in formation, supporting it, decreasing its work load and conserving its energy. A solo goose could never complete the trip, but in formation the youngest, the oldest, and even the weakest get there. In other words, they do collectively what they could never do alone.
When God said, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, ” He was saying, “Stay in formation children! Enjoy the uplift!” You weren’t designed to fly solo no matter what your rank, calling, gifting, or maturity level. You’re a part of the body of Christ, created to function in concert with all the other parts. “The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you!’ And the head cannot say to the feet, ‘I don’t need you!’” (1Co 12:21 NIV). Occasionally a goose, disoriented or overconfident, goes on autopilot and finds itself adrift. Soon, however, its wings become heavy from exhaustion and it loses altitude. It begins to feel the drag of increasing wind resistance, and it pulls its weakened body back into formation alongside its feathered fellow pilgrims. Jesus said, “Look at the birds” (Mt 6:26 NIV). So get back in formation (and fellowship) and stay there!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OPENING PRAYER:
Precious Heavenly Father, thank you for another time of Worship. Thank you Lord for this time that we may come together and worship your name. I pray that you will touch each person in a special way. In the Name of Jesus I pray Amen!
OPENING SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
WORSHIP SONG: My Father Watches Over Me
I trust in God wherever I may be, Upon the land or on the rolling sea, For, come what may, from day to day, My heav’nly Father watches over me.
I trust in God, I know He cares for me, On mountain bleak or on the stormy sea; Tho’ billows roll, He keeps my soul, My heavn’ly Father watches over me. He makes the rose an object of His care, He guides the eagle thru the pathless air, And surely He remembers me, My heav’nly Father watches over me.
I trust in God, I know He cares for me, On mountain bleak or on the stormy sea; Tho’ billows roll, He keeps my soul, My heavn’ly Father watches over me. I trust in God, I know He cares for me, On mountain bleak or on the stormy sea; Tho’ billows roll, He keeps my soul, My heavn’ly Father watches over me. I trust in God, for in the the lion’s den, On battlefield, or in the prison pen, Thru praise or blame, thru flood or flame, My heav’nly Father watches over me.
I trust in God, I know He cares for me, On mountain bleak or on the stormy sea; Tho’ billows roll, He keeps my soul, My heavn’ly Father watches over me. The valley may be dark, the shadows deep But O, The Shepherd guards His lonely sheep; And thru the gloom, He’ll lead me home My heav’nly Father watches over me.
MESSAGE: WOW! What a Love
Well today is Fathers Day and this is a day that is set aside so that we may show him just how much we love him, we make buy a special gift for him or take him out to eat. There are other special things we do to honor our fathers.
We also have a Heavenly Father that deserves more Honor more than any other person. What a Love that our Heavenly Father has for us! Praise God!
In 1 John Chatper 3 the Bible say, "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."
Wow! What a Love that the Heavenly Father has for us. Look what He calls us, We are called the sons of God. Praise God! Now this Father had Love for us. He Loved us so much that He gave us His only Son Jesus. And Jesus died for us so that we may have eternal Life.
Wow! What a Love the Heavenly Father has for us that He has a place prepared for us. In John 14:2, it says In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare place for you.
Do you want to be able to say Wow! What a Love the Heavenly Father has, if you don’t know the Lord, ask Him in your Heart today. Call on the Lord, it is simple to be Saved, just ask, believe and Confess to Him and He will Save you. Call on the name of the Lord while can, come and let Jesus take care of your every need. He is one that will never turn you down or leave you. He is there for you Amen
Precious Heavenly Father, We thank you for this time of Worship. Today, Lord I pray that you touch each person in special way and that you will touch the sick. I pray that you will touch their body and heal them for Lord you are the Healer so touch them according to your will. Lord I pray that you will confort the hurting, I pray that you will give them rest and comfort and Lord I pray that you
will touch the Lost Loves ones, you know where they are Lord and I pray that you will speak to their heart so that they may come to know you.

It’s come for prayer in our Service now, please join in as we pray
Precious Hevenly Father, we thank you for this time of prayer and we
thank you that we another opportunity to lift up our prayer requests
to you. We thank you for all the prayer requests we have receievd
this week and we bring them to you Lord and we ask that you take
each one and meet the needs according to your will and way. We ask
that you touch that are sick in body and send a miracle their way
for we stand on that promise found in Exodus 15:26 that you are the
one that heals and we are believing for miracles for those that are
sick. Touch our ministries Lord and use them for your Glory that we
may be a blessing to others and may change a life for you and they
never be the same, In the Name of Jesus we pray Amen!
Message: How Great Thou Art!
Today’s Scripture
"You shall fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him and cling to
Him, and you shall swear by His name. He is your praise and He is
your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which
your eyes have seen." (Deuteronomy 10:20-21)
Could you testify of great and awesome things that the Lord has done
for you? In fact, if God chose to do nothing else for you, do you
believe He has already done enough? Begin each day by praising the
Lord, thanking Him not only for what He has done, but for who He is:
Jehovah Jirah – your Provider; Jehovah Rapha – your Healer; Jehovah
Shalom – your Peace.
He is worthy of all praise, and when we worship Him, it is we who
receive the blessing. That’s why we gather together each week, to
worship Him for who He is. But it is our honor to worship Him every
day-- in the car, at home, at the office – wherever and whenever you
want to enter into the presence of God because God inhabits the
praises of His people.
When you praise God without expecting anything in return, you will
begin to experience the life of victory, joy, and abundance He has
promised you.
A Prayer for Today
God, I praise You as my provider, my healer, and my instrument of
peace. Today I glorify You as the Almighty God who created heaven
and earth. I am in awe of Your power and mercy and will forever
worship You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Special Song: Healing Rain
Healing rain is coming down
It’s coming nearer to this old town
Rich and poor, weak and strong
Its bringing mercy, it won’t be long
Healing rain is coming down
It’s coming closer to the lost and found
Tears of joy and tears of shame
Are washed forever in Jesus’ name
Healing rain, it comes with fire
So let it fall and take us higher
Healing rain, I’m not afraid
To be washed in Heaven’s rain
Lift your heads, let us return
To the mercy seat where time began
And in your eyes, I see the pain
Come soak this dry heart with healing rain
And only you, the Son of man
Can take a leper and let him stand
So lift your hands, they can be held
By someone greater, the great I Am
Healing rain, it comes with fire
So let it fall and take us higher
Healing rain, I’m not afraid
To be washed in Heaven’s rain
To be washed in Heaven’s rain...
Healing rain is falling down
Healing rain is falling down
I’m not afraid
I’m not afraid...
Friend do you need a touch from the Lord? Do you need a Miracle in
your life this morning? If you are saying Yes, you would like to
have that Healing Rain touch, Just fall on your knees and cry out to
Jesus and let him pour that Healing Rain on you.
Precious Heavenly Father, we come to you and ask that you touch your
people in a special way, Lord you know what each need is this
morning and Lord I come into agreement with them and together we are
believing for a Miracle to take place Lord wash them in your Healing
Rain.
Message: In the Shadow of the Cross
In the shadow of the Cross; I lay my burdens down
In the shadow of the Cross; Righteousness can be found.
In the shadow of the Cross; a river of blood poured out for me
In the shadow of the Cross; there is Hope for all eternity.
In the shadow of the Cross; His stripes still heal me.
In the shadow of the Cross; I bow my heart in all humility.
In the shadow of the Cross; holiness and purity can be found.
In the shadow of the cross; the sinner can be set free.
In the shadow of the cross; Jesus looks down from Calvary
In the shadow of the cross; He beckons-Come! Come! To Me
But you see on that day of Calvary; there was no shadow; as He hung
on that tree; He openly bore our sin, as He died for you and me.
Striped of all dignity; in true humility; He died surrounded by His
enemies. They laughed and scorned Him; mocked--as they cast lots for
His robe. They didn’t see the Shadow of the Cross; as it covered the
Hill of Calvary As He spoke Father forgive them; it is finished- I
commend my spirit to Thee!
No my brother, no my sister; this is not how it ends! For three days
later; HE AROSE AGAIN!! He’s ascended to His Father and soon very
soon; He will come for you and me.
Are you ready?
Have you been set free?
Has the shadow of the Cross; brought you liberty?
There is only one way for life everlasting
It’s not in who you know or what you do,
It’s in the shadow of the Cross of Calvary!!!
It’s in the name of Jesus who died to set you free!
You can not buy it, you can not earn it; Dear one- He gives it to
you free.
Come just as you are - Call on His name Bow your knee - In the
Shadow of the Cross - Of Calvary!

O Precious Savior, Wonderful Lord, In-filling Holy Spirit
Thank you Lord Jesus for the joy that wells up within me.
Thank you for the overflowing fountain of your living water that
flows into my soul.
In spite of many trials and tribulations, your spirit of love and
your Holy Touch are alive in my heart.
In spite of moments when loneliness might consume me, your Holy
Spirit brings joy in the middle of the gloom.
In spite of sadness that assails my heart, your Holy Spirit turns the
sadness into a joy that brings tears to my eyes.
In moments of pain and suffering, your touch upon my heart pushes
away the pain because of the joy of your being.
When I am troubled, your Holy Spirit brings joy that erases my
troubles.
When I am distraught, your Holy Spirit brings a peace because of the

When I am fearful, your Holy Spirit fills my heart with joya joy that
brings encouragement and power over every obstacle.
When I am low in spirit, your words and messages fill my starving
heart with the joy of your manna from heaven.
In the name of the Precious Savior, Wonderful Lord God, and the In-
filling Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.

Special Song: Take Me to the Cross
She’s daddy’s little girl
Only three years old
All dressed up in her Sunday clothes
He held her hand on bended knee
He said
I need to show you how to find your way homeAs they walked along
How sweet the sound
Church bells ringin’
People gathered ’round
Remember this church
And the cross way up there
Sweetheart, if you ever get lost sayTake me to the cross
High upon a steeple
The one where Jesus died for all the lost people
If you can’t find home
Know you’re not alone
Take me to the crossAs the years went by
Daddy’s little girl
Lost herself out in a big, big world
And the day her daddy died
She said I need to know whyTake me to the cross
High upon a steeple
The one where Jesus died for hurting people
If you can’t find home
Know you’re not alone
Take me to the crossNow that same little girl
Thirty years gone by
She still knows here daddy’s by her side
She raises her little boy
In her father’s way
And she smiles
When she hears her son say
Hey, momTake me to the cross
High upon a steeple
The one where Jesus died for all the lost people
If you can’t find home
Know you’re not aloneTake me to the cross
High upon a steeple
The one where Jesus died for all the lost people
If you can’t find home
Know you’re not alone
Take me to the cross

Message: Righteousness Exalts Today’s Scripture“Righteousness exalts a nation…” (Proverbs 14:34). Many people are looking for ways to climb higher in life and the answer is found in the Word of God! The Bible tells us that righteousness exalts a nation. Righteousness simply means to be in right standing with God. It means you are honoring Him and following His ways. Webster’s dictionary says that the word “exalt” means “to raise in rank, power or character.” Righteousness exalts a nation, and righteousness exalts individuals.
There are so many promises in the Word of God for those who are righteous and honor Him. Part of being righteous and following His commands is to pray for your leaders and people in authority. Pray that they would honor the Lord and seek His ways. Pray that they would govern in righteousness and integrity. And Psalm 33 tells us that, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” The Lord promises that when His people pray, He will hear us! As you submit all your ways to Him, He will cause you to rise up higher and higher into the place of blessing He has in store for you! Prayer for Today: Father in heaven, thank You for making me righteous through the blood of Jesus. Remind me to pray for my leaders and those who are in authority over me so that Your righteousness will exalt this nation. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

There’s a miracle in the making
One for you the Father is working even now.
Your prayers have been heard and the answer is on the way
There’s a miracle in the making for you today.
Precious Heavenly Father, We Praise you for this time of Worship and
as we come together, I pray that you will touch your people in a
wonderful way, minister to us during this time and I pray that it may
change the heart of a person and they never be the same in the Name
of Jesus I pray
Special Song: Alleluia to the Lamb
We’ve gathered here on holy ground
Angels hovering all around
Stand now before Him, oh, magnify Him
Alleluia to the Lamb!
Adoration and praises fill my soul
Alleluias I will bestow
I will sing to the Lord, lifting my hands
Alleluia to the Lamb!
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
We come to you in one accord
Holy, holy, Lamb of Glory
Alleluia to the Lamb!
Adoration and praises fill my soul
Alleluias I will bestow
I will sing to the Lord, lifting my hands
Alleluia to the Lamb!
I will sing to the Lord, lifting my hands
Alleluia to the Lamb, Alleluia to the Lamb
Special Prayer:
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you. Right now,
my earthly circumstances look impossible.
Someday, I will sail away into your Heaven.
However, as I am on the earth this minute, please inspire me now to
do your will and touch the world.
Inspire me to touch the world in the here and now so when I get to
see you face to face, we can both look back at my life and see the
world was better, enriched, more wholesome, and made greater in your
love because I accepted you into my heart and life.
While I am alive this minute, help me use my heart, mind, and soul in
prayer for others each day.
Let whatever I seek in prayer be only your will.
Let whatever I seek in prayer be answered according to your will.
Wrap your hands around the world.
Reach into the depths of darkness enveloping the world.
Reach those people I could never reach.
Touch those people I could never touch.
May the tiny sparkles of your love and compassion spring up in the
hearts of those persons who never feel your love and who never feel
your compassion.
May the whole world be brought closer to you.
May the whole world be touched by you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord
Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon
whom I can rely.
Amen
Lord, you’ve created me for your glory, Lord, you’ve created me for
your glory
The songs I sing and the joy that they bring, is to glorify, glorify
Your name
Lord, You shine through me for your glory, your love abides in me for
Your glory
The peace You bring and the power that I claim, Is to glorify,
glorify Your name
Oh, I just came to glorify, glorify Your name, I just came to
glorify, glorify Your name
Oh You’ve got the sweetest name I know, and I’ll tell it, I’ll tell
it, wherever I go
I came to glorify, glorify, Your name
Some call Him, Jehovah Jirah, El Shadi, Lilly of the Valley, the
Mighty Prince Of Peace
Oh, yes, there’s no other name under Heaven or Earth, whereby men
might be saved
Except the name of Jesus
Oh, I just came to glorify, glorify Your name, I just came to
glorify, glorify Your name
Oh You’ve got the sweetest name I know, and I’ll tell it, I’ll tell
it, wherever I go
I came to glorify, glorify, Your name
I came to glorify, glorify Your name, glorify His name!
Hes a mighty God, the Prince of Peace,
the Lord of all the universe, He meets my every need,
Hes the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, He is my
dearest friend,
When Im walking through the valley of the shadow of death
I do not have to fear because I know Hes near
Ive been sanctified and glorified,
delivered Im redeemed Hes been so good to me
Can I get a Witness, has the Lord been good to you, I said has the
Lord been good tou you, Oh Praise God He has been good to all of us
Amen Amen Amen
MESSAGE:
Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
For he has purchased our salvation by suffering the agony and the
shame of crucifixion upon the cross to redeem us from the multitude
of our sins.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
For he came into the world to bring the Father’s words of hope, the
New Covenant, the words of life, the message of our salvation; which
he sealed by his own blood.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
For he has ascended into Heaven where he sits on the Right Hand of
God interceding on our behalf day and night; thereby causing the Holy
Spirit to impute power and might, wisdom and understanding to our
lives.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
CLOSING: Whatever it Takes
Who was to try to live without you
Thinking I could do things on my own
Lord I know that I should never doubt you
I get so lost and lonely when I stray
Now it’s time to
Surrender to you
’Cause I’m just a man who believes
And it’s you that I need
Whatever it takes
That’s what I’ll do
Lord I’d give anything to get back to you
I know I was wrong
And I’ve made some mistakes
But I’m gonna do whatever it takes
Whatever it takes
In a world of darkness and temptation
Only you can give me eyes to see
Father you’re my strength and my salvation
I trust you’ll show me who
I’m supposed to be
I will follow
Anywhere that you lead
For it’s your will not mine
I’m gonna prove it this time
Whatever it takes
That’s what I’ll do
Lord I’d give anything to get back to you
I know I was wrong
And I’ve made some mistakes
But I’m gonna do whatever it takes
Whatever it takes
I’m standin’ here ’cause I’ve got nothing to lose
I lost it all when I walked away from you
I swear this time around
I won’t let you down

Now here is a special poem called EVERYTHING
As I awoke to the beginning of a brand new day,
It seemed like waves of trials kept coming my way.
Problem after problem was all I could see,
I cried out, "Lord, what is it you want from me?"
The answer that came from the One Most High,
Was nothing but a very simple reply,
It was one unexpected, but yet rang so true,
It’s something He desires from me and from you.
He said, "EVERYTHING"
I want you to know Me as your Savior and Guide,
The One who will always be right there at your side.
I want you to serve Me through the good times and bad,
To sing praises to My Name whether you’re happy or sad.
I want your faith to grow stronger as each day goes by,
To trust Me when there’s no answers to your questions of "Why?"
To learn of My love and to feel My embrace,
When you’re called to endure the hardships you face.
I want no one or nothing to take My place in your heart,
In whatever you should do, I want to take part.
Stand on My promises, let nothing cause you doubt,
In the end you will see that all things will work out.
So you see, My dear child, I want to be your all in all,
To depend on My presence when you stand or when you fall,
When you question just what is it that I want from thee?
My answer is EVERYTHING, as you are EVERYTHING to Me.

Message for today is called "God is on Your Side"
Today’s Scripture
"If God is for us, who can be against us" (Romans 8:31)
As a believer in Jesus and a child of His, God is on your side today!
If you haven’t thought about it yet today, remember, you are created
for greatness. You have the seed of Almighty God inside of you. There
is no obstacle that can stop you. There is no disadvantage that can
hold you back. You’re in the palm of God’s hand, and He has equipped
and empowered you for everything. When God is on your side, He sets
the right people in your path. In fact, He’s already released favor
into your future. He’s planning for you to come in to new seasons of
increase. Have you given up on a dream? God is on your side, and He
wants to resurrect it. Have you given up on a family member? God is
on your side, and He wants to restore that relationship. God is on
your side, and He has a plan for victory in every area of your life.
Let that sink down into your heart today. Begin to expect His favor.
Expect Him to work in your life. Focus on the fact that God has
equipped you. He has anointed you. Your best days are still out in
front of you! If God is for you, no one can rise against you! As you
meditate on this promise, it will become real to you. You will walk
in the favor and victory God has in store for you!
A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, thank You for being on my side today. Thank You for
equipping and empowering me to accomplish everything You’ve called me
to. Give me a deeper revelation of Your love for me today so that I
can live the abundant life You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

Now here is a special devotion that I got in my e-mail this morning.
It is called God’s Got Reasons from Joni Eareckson Tada
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for
joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name
may rejoice in you.
--Psalm 5:11
In preparation to go to Africa last year, I was stuck with every kind
of shot, from yellow fever to hepatitis. I even took malaria pills.
When I left the doctor’s office, I relaxed, knowing I was under God’s
protection. While overseas, I was careful with the food and water. I
became doubly cautious when, mid-way through our trip, everyone else
was running to the restroom. We all knew that if I became ill, it
would be awful - I wouldn’t be able to get up and run to a bathroom!
Mealtimes were challenges. To make things worse, I lost my special
spoon again. My friend thought she had cleaned it off after breakfast
and put it back in my handbag. But not so. I was demoralized,
knowing someone would have to feed me. I asked the Lord to show me
where that spoon was, but God was quiet on the subject. At the close
of the trip during our last meal, I was struck by a crystal-clear
thought: Joni, you lost your spoon because it was contaminated. Had
you used it, you would have become sick. Immediately I shared this
with my friends at the table. One of them gasped, "God just told me
that same thing this very instant." God was no longer quiet on the
subject. Neither was I. I kept praising him, happy to not only be
healthy, but to be able to hear his reasons for hiding my spoon!
We say it all the time. We pray to the Lord, "Deliver us from evil."
God answers that prayer with a resounding "I will, " yet we cannot see
the thousands of ways to he does it every day.
Lord, I thank you for the countless times you will protect me today.
I’ll name a few right now...

Message: Declare that You Are Blessed!
Today’s Scripture
"Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven
of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm,
whithersoever the governor listeth. Even so the tongue is a little
member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little
fire kindleth!." (James 3:4-5)
Like the rudder on a ship, your tongue sets the direction of your
life. It does not matter how hard the wind may blow, the rudder keeps
the ship on its course. The words you speak are like that ship’s
rudder. No matter how hard the winds of life may sometimes blow, you
need to guard the words that come out of your mouth. If you speak
words of defeat, don’t be surprised if your life continues on a course
of defeat. But, when you choose to speak overcoming words of victory,
you will experience victory.
It’s not enough to refrain from speaking negative things. You must
proactively say positive and encouraging things about yourself and
your family. As you speak words of blessing over your life, you will
find that they become a self-fulfilling prophecy. You can change your
world by changing your words.
The Bible says in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of
the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Make sure that
the fruit your tongue produces is sweet. Declare that you are blessed
and that whatever you do will succeed. Begin to speak those words of
faith and victory over your life and over your loved ones, and you
will reap a harvest that will bless your family for generations.
A Prayer for Today
God, help me to change direction and use encouraging, uplifting words
of blessing. I believe that you want me to live a life of victory. I
will use my words to declare that victory to myself and to the world!
In Jesus’ name – Amen.
Have a wonderful day

Message: The New Birth (Be Born Again)
What is the New Birth?
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John
3:3).
Jesus made this statement to a man named Nicodemus who was a ruler of
the Jews. Nicodemus had heard Jesus preaching about a new kind of
kingdom, and he came to ask Jesus questions about it. Jesus told him
that the way to enter this new kingdom was to be born again.
Nicodemus asked Him the same question you or I might ask: How can a
man be born again? Can he enter into his mother’s womb again? Jesus
explained to Nicodemus that the new birth He was talking about was
not physical but spiritual. It was the beginning of a new life in a
new kingdom.
Jesus answered, Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be
born again (John 3:5-7).
When Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, He used an illustration
Nicodemus could easily understand. A newborn baby entering its life
was a perfect illustration of a person beginning a new life with God.
Jesus called it being born again—a new birth. He also called it being
saved. These terms all mean the same thing. What we call this
remarkable experience isn’t as important as understanding the God
made a way to bring us back to Him and give us new life!
They that are whole need not a physician: but they that are sick. I
came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Luke
5:32).
The way back to God is to acknowledge our need of a Savior and to
accept what Jesus Christ did on our behalf. God saw us in our state
of spiritual death, and through Jesus Christ provided a way back into
relationship with Him.
God’s love for us is not based upon our ability to come to Him on our
own merits. It is based on our acceptance that Jesus Christ paid the
price for our sins…and there is nothing more for us to do.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
(Romans 10:13).
Salvation has been freely offered to everyone. Anyone who will
acknowledge their need of a Savior and accept Jesus Christ as that
Savior can be saved.
These three steps are essential to salvation:
REPENT: to repent means to turn around, to go in a new direction.
What do we need to turn from? We need to turn form our life-style of
sin and separation from God. We need to turn from living our lives
our own way and from being our own god.
What do we turn to? We turn to God who loves and cares for us. We
turn to faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior.
BELIEVE: What is it that we must believe? We are told in the Bible we
must believe that not only did Jesus shed His blood and die for us,
but that he rose again from the dead and is alive today.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God have raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is mad unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10)
CONFESS: With the mouth confession is made unto salvation. What is it
that we say? We must say what we believe—that Jesus is our Savior. We
must say what the Bible says about us—that God is our Father and we
have become His children.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).
Throughout the ages mankind has sought eternal life, never
understanding that we are already eternal beings, destined to live
forever somewhere. To live forever in a state of separation from God
is a frightening thought. You can make sure that you are right with
God by turning to Him and praying this prayer:
"God, I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I REPENT, and I ask you to
forgive me of all my sin.
"I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is your Son, that He shed His blood so I
might be forgiven, that He rose again from the dead, and He is coming
back again.
"I CONFESS Him now as my Savior. I will live for you as you show me
how. Amen."
By believing in Jesus Christ and receiving Him as your Savior, you
will turn your life in a new direction. You can be at peace with God
knowing you will live forever with Him

Our Message today is going to be a Heart Touching Story called "The Last Tract"
Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service
at their church, the Pastor and his eleven year old
son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel
Tracts. This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came
time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets
with their tracts, it was very cold outside as well as
pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest
and driest clothes and said---"OK dad, I’m ready." His
Pastor dad asked---"Ready for what ? "
"Dad, it’s time we gather our tracts together and
go out." Dad responds---"Son, it’s very cold outside
and it’s pouring down rain." The boy gives his dad a
surprised look, asking---"But dad, aren’t People still
going to Hell, even though it’s raining ? " Dad
answers---"Son, I am not going out in this weather."
Despondently the boy asks---"Dad, can I go--Please ? "
His father hesitated for a moment then said---"Son,
you can go. Here’s the tracts; be careful son."
"Thanks Dad!!! " And with that he was off and out into
the rain.
This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the
town going door to door and handing everybody he met
in the street a Gospel Tract. After 2 hours of walking
in the rain he was soaking bone chilled wet and down
to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and
looked for someone to hand a tract to but the streets
were totally deserted. Then he turned toward the first
home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front
door and rang the door bell.
He rang the bell--but nobody answered. He rang it
again and again but, still no one answered. He waited
but still no answer. Finally this eleven year old
trooper turned to leave but something stopped him.
Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and
knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited,
something holding him there on the front porch.
He rang again, and this time the door slowly
opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad looking
elderly lady. She softly asked, "What can I do for you
son?" With radiant eyes and a Smile that lit up her
world this little boy said, "Mam, I’m sorry if I
disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that JESUS
REALLY DOES LOVE YOU, and I came to give you my very
last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS
and His great LOVE." With that he handed her his last
tract, and turned to leave. She called to him as he
departed, "Thank you son! And God Bless You!"
Well, the following Sunday Morning in Church,
Pastor Dad was in the Pulpit and as the service began
he asked, "Does anybody have a testimony or want to
say anything?"
Slowly, in the back row of the Church, an elderly
lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak a look
of glorious radiance came from her face as she said,
"None of you in this church know me. I’ve never been
here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a
Christian. My husband has passed on, some time ago,
leaving me totally alone in this world.
Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day,
It was even more so in my heart as I came to the end of
the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live. So I
took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into
the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to
a rafter in the roof then stood on the chair and
fastened the other end of the rope around my neck.
Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted, I
was about to leap off when suddenly the loud ringing
of my doorbell downstairs startled me.
I thought--’ I’ll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.’ I
waited and waited--But the ringing doorbell seemed to
get louder and more insistent and then the person
ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to
myself again---’ Who on earth could this be?! Nobody
ever rings my bell or comes to see me." I loosened the
rope from my neck and started for the front door, all
the while the Bell rang louder and louder.
When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my
eyes for there on my front porch was the most radiant
and Angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His
SMILE, Oh, I could never describe it to you!!! And the
Words that came from his mouth caused my Heart, that
had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed
with cherub like voice---’ Mam, I just came to tell
you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.’
Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.
As the little Angel disappeared back out, into the cold and
rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of
this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get
my rope and chair. I wouldn’t be needing them any
more. You see, I am now a Happy Child of the KING, and
since the address of your Church was on the back of
this Gospel Tract I have come here to personally say
THANK YOU TO GOD’S LITTLE ANGEL WHO CAME JUST IN THE
NICK OF TIME AND, BY SO DOING, SPARED MY SOUL FROM
ETERNITY IN HELL ."
There were now no dry eyes in the Church. And as
Shouts of Praise, and Honor to THE KING, resounded off
the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended
from the pulpit to the front pew where the little
Angel was seated; He took him in his arms and sobbed
uncontrollably.
Probably no Church has had a more glorious moment.
AND probably this Universe has never
seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor
for his son -- EXCEPT for one--this FATHER also
allowed His Son to go out into a Cold & Dark World. He
received His Son back with Joy unspeakable, and as
all of Heaven Shouted Praises and Honor to THE KING,
The FATHER sat HIS BELOVED SON on a Throne far above
all Principality and Power....and every name that is
named....
There may be SOMEONE, reading this, who is
also going through a Dark, Cold, Lonely time in your
soul. You may be a Christian, for we are not without
problems, OR you may not yet Know THE KING. Whatever
the case, and Whatever the problem or situation you
find yourself in, and no matter how DARK it may seem,
I want you to know that I just came to tell you --
JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU.
