LUPUS RACE FOR LIFE 5K & 1 MILE RUN/WALK

TIME: Registration opens at 6:30a.m. Race begins at 8:00a.m.

$10-Age 14 & Under, $25-Adults, $30-Race Day Registration

Join Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Runners, Walkers, and lupus patients at the 8th Annual Lupus International Race for Life 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at La Mirada Regional Park, Los Angeles, California. Each year this event is hosted by local law enforcement and fire fighting agencies in support of all those that suffer from the disease lupus.

This race has special meaning for many of the committee members. Either they are victims of this disease or have loved ones that are suffering. Through their tireless efforts, it is their hope that the Lupus Race for Life will increase awareness, education, and research grants so that a cure is found.

All those that register and participate at the park will receive a free t-shirt, participant bag and a pancake breakfast. Run the scenic and shaded course to show your support! The event is professionally championship timed and on a USA Track & Field certified course.
