so spill em

some lady asked if she can use her krispy kreme card at starbucks;
i was like, ma’am, we are starbucks, so no.

I work at a grocery store Starbucks and we stopped usin the club cards to get the 8th free deals, and some guy today asked if he would need his card for a discount.
I said no and explained that Starbucks had told us to stop and we ended the program about a year ago.
He said, "No you didn’t" "You’re Lying"

Dude fought with me for 5 mins. I told him he can slide his card all he wants and it still wouldn’t count for anything.

I would imagine they would ask you to stop using whatever "club cards" you were offering the customers since you technically don’t work for SBUX...so that would be bad for you to offer some sort of reward that an actual SBUX doesn’t not offer.

If you were a real starbucks then we could use our partner numbers at your location. We can’t use our perks there so therefore not a real starbucks.

Yeah...You work for a company who is liscensed to sell and make starbucks products. You don’t work for starbucks at all. Sorry. No offense, but most of those stores don’t have near as many drinks and specialties as a real starbucks...and they normally don’t even make it right. But you could be different, I don’t know.

Sorry, but it’s true. You do not work at a partner store...you do not have partner numbers...therefore, you are not acknowledged as a SBUX barista. Maybe your state and store you work at are different, but EVERY liscensced store in our area does not properly train their baristas, and we are constantly getting complaints about non partner stores.

I would say you can leave a complaint about your plight of not working for a real SBUX on the partner idea site...oh, but wait, you’re not a partner...and you need SBUX partner numbers to actually log into the partner idea site. I guess you can leave a complaint about not working at a real SBUX on the customer idea website then. =)

a vinnila italian soda is those small pelegrino bottles with vinila syrup you normaly just ring up the peligrino bottle and add vinnila

as far as the dry latte its a dry capachino most capachinos are lattes so when they ask for a dry latte just ring as cap and make a cap

well a latte is shots milk (mostly) foam
a Cap is Shots milk (very little) foam (lots)
when someone asks for a dry latte there asking for more foam than milk.
the common person doesnt go to starbucks everyday they view it as a "special" event going to get premium coffee. thus people dont know how to order there beverage. they know the terminoligy just not the drink this is why some people ask for iced cap’s cause they know how the drink is made they just dont understand why its not possible... same with Caps and Lattes there close to the same thing just the milk and foam is switched around.... hence why its easy to confuse
( i really dont know why im having a hard time explaining this.. excuse me if i confused you LOL)

Cappuccino: shots, half milk, half foam, unless specified otherwise
latte: shots, milk, 1/4 inch of foam.
end of discussion.

as for store/airport/casino starbucks: yes, they are trained under Starbucks regulations, HOWEVER: they are owned and work for the store/airport/casino. They are starbucks by a business agreement with the company to sell our products to starbucks standard, but they are not apart of the company; which is why they are employed by the store/airport/casino, and can sell other products in addition to starbucks food(go into a starbucks located in a casino and you’ll see pastries and cakes from a restaurant also in the casino)
also end of discussion.

do your research before you start an argument.

pretty sure it’s against standard to mix those for your customers. you can give them all the parts and they can make it themselves, but it’s not allowed to do so for them behind the counter.

as far as lats and caps go... you guys need to read your beverage resource manual, since it would seem that neither of you are making your drinks to standard. latte = 1/4 foam? yea... not so much.

and no, grocery store starbucks are not real starbucks. anyone i know who has had the misinformed notion to get drinks at one always says they were not made right. the drink either tasted "off" or it was just gross. someone may buy all the syrups and beans and make their own lattes at home but that doesn’t make them a starbucks barista. at the very least you’d get a partner card, and i don’t see any safeway employees rocking one of those through my starbucks.

why would it be against standards to make up a drink for them using our own products anyway?
i mean i"d understand if they brought their own product in, but seriously it shouldnt be a problem...
