Joe Quesada, Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief will be answering YOUR questions in a brand new weekly feature on MySpace Comic Books called My Cup o’ Joe!

That’s right folks, Joe Quesada will be on MySpace Comic Books every week to answer questions from YOU!

Want to hear what’s in store for your favorite character? Want to know the secrets behind Secret Invasion? Want to know what happens behind the scenes at Marvel? Ask anything you want! Just follow these four guidelines:

1. Be polite. Apply the Golden Rule to your question.

2. Critical statements are fine, inflammatory or insulting statements are not.

3. Length - keep it short.

4. Ask a question! Sounds obvious, but make sure your post contains a question for Joe to answer.

Barring the above, there is no such thing as a stupid question, so please try to keep discussion of other questions to a minimum.

Simple, right? Post your inquisitive queries right here in this thread, then come back Friday to see if he answered your question!

Is there any future for the Daredevil franchise on screen? Hulk and Punisher were rebooted, why not Daredevil?

Aside from any appearances in Secret Invasion, will Uncanny X-men tie into Secret Invasion? Or will there be a mini series that deals with their involvement like with Civil War and World War Hulk?

Hey Joe,

quick one shot questions..

1. Will ares get another mini to further flesh out who he is and what he can do?

2. Can Quicksilver if given the right creative team sustain his own series based on jerkish nature. If it can be done for Iron Fist, don’t see why it wouldn’t work with him.

3.Sentry vs. Thor when will it happen?

4.Sentry/Moonknight series...is it a go?

Joe:

1.) What’s the likelihood of getting David Hine to wrap up his Son of M/Silent War trilogy?

2.) What’s the likelihood of seeing Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s "Magic War" in the next two years?

Cheers!

I actually have a couple of questions:

1) How did the Red Hulk come about (I’m not talking about in the story, I know that’s coming up in the book eventually, I mean from a creative stand point)?

2) How was it decided that the gap between One More Day and Brand New Day would be explained in New Avengers rather than in Amazing Spider-Man or even in a one-shot?

Okay, I lied, one more:

3)Piggy-backing off of my previous Red Hulk question, with that ball of scarlet rage running amok, is there any possibility of an encounter/fight between him and Thor?

What is Marvel’s current stance on its own Original Artwork Policy? Will there ever be an in-house shakedown on artist on artist theft, acts that Marvel readers continue to make public through videos on Youtube, on blogs, and on numerous comic book message boards?

With Michael Turners health concerns is his and the mighty Jeph Leob’s project still a go and if so when can we expect a announcement? Oh one more thing....I really dug One More Day and understand the reason behind it. Thanks again

joey q,
why is it okay for you to make changes based totally on your personal opinions? For example, you’ve always been outspoken against Peter Parker and Mary Jane’s marriage hence OMD and BND and while the separation isn’t a major concern. It is a big deal that Marvel’s most moral hero failed when it really counted and accepted, prior even considered accepting a deal from Satan aka Mephisto.
Was there really no better way to make the transistion?

My second example would be that no Marvel characters smoke after your own personal tragedy despite the fact that Wolverine loves cigars, Gambit was also a smoker and its not rational that no one would smoke on the entire Earth 616 when we know for a fact cigarettes and tobacco products exist there. While I do understand why you would feel this way and offer my condolensces, I make these statements reasoning that in my opinion it’s not professional to make major business decisions that affect as many people as Marvel Comics do based on personal preferences. What’s to say next time say a mugging will occur to someone close to you and then comics like Daredevil or Spider-Man couldn’t depict them? Or say alcoholism struck a family member would Ms.Marvel and Iron-Man’s history change?Where’s the cut-off point exactly?

I’d like to conclude by asking have you ever considered the ramifications(towards the readers and Marvel Comics)business-wise of readers knowing enough about the reasons behind these decisions to reach that conclusion and how has that affected you personally as well as professionally? I know that the backlash on MCB was... intense and wonder if that has carried over to any other aspect?
