i gonna buy mic for capture overhead of drum kit, what is your reccomend?
or i buy another same one as i have? (as pair rode nt1)

in my opinion,
generally with a couple of large diapharme
but it depends on your budget
with the dynamic mics like sm81
it give the sound more root
i never try a couple small diaparhme
i think it will give more precision in high frequency

couple of large diapham mic, nt1x2

small diapham has high frequency but no body i think

maybe i buy another c414 for new vocal mic
