Is anyone having trouble getting SSI/Disability? I was denied and just filed an appeal and any advice you can give me would be appreciated. I have Lupus, Fibromyagia, Severe Arthritis in my lower back and knees and I have not worked in a year. I have no medical insurance and its a struggle getting through each day. They even told me in my denial letter that even tho' I can't work and I met their guidlines and they gave me advice on how to cope each day, I am not disabled enough for SSI/Disability. I was shocked. I hope that it goes through on appeal, but I doubt it will. Any Advice?

Peace and Well Wishes,
Brannie

Write your sentors and house rep and ask for constituient services, saying you are disabled and being denied, and on appeal, and need help getting what is rightfully yours because you are struggling and do qualify.
You sign over rights for them to look at your medical records.
They helped me.
It gives your case congressional intererest, it speeds things a long a little (still slow), and it gives your case more priority, kind of lights fire under some asses, make people realize someone is watching them.

Thanks for the help. I have been denied twice now, so this is my second appeal, so I guess we will see what happens.

Thanks and Many Blessings,
Brannie
