Well, that depends on a lot of different factors, like how much you already weigh, what your metabolism is like natrually, whether or not you exercise, what your body is used to eating...but GENERALLY speaking, the types of food you eat, how often you eat them, and how much of them you eat will all determine how much weight you will loose.
The average person burns 1, 300 calories just living, not doing anything. So in order to loose weight, you basically have to eat less than 1300 calories in any given day. It’s not as simple as that though. There are many other things to be considered such as the fact that eating 800 calories of something like chocolate cake is WAY different than eating 800 calories of shredded wheat.
Do you want to be in shape, or athletic/muscular...or do you just want to be skinny?
There are three food groups that I believe are important to think about.
1. Fiber (both soluable and insoluable fiber - learn the difference)
2. Protien (responsible for building muscle, and muscle burns fat all by itself)
3. Vitamins (like raw fruits and vegetable, or multi-vitamin)
Obviously you want to cut out ALL SATURATED FATS and eat a little sugar as possible. Some unsaturated fats are okay and actually help fight againstother types of fat, but that’s really complicating things.
If you reallky want to loose weight, the fastest way I know how to is to fast for 24 hours (nothing but water...NOTHING) And then the 2-4-6-8 (2468 is eating 200 calories the first day, 400 thenext, 600 the next, and finally 800 on the last day. ) Eating more calories each day will theoretically boost your metabolism big time. After the 80 calorie day, try to stay at 1300-1500 calories a day and do light exercise AFTER you’ve eaten.
I DO NOT suggest you do any type of exercise at all when fasting or severely restricting. All that will do is mess with your metabolism, and you want to keep your metabolism UP as high as possible, eat as little calories as possible, and get the most nutrition out of the food you do eat as possible.
This and other ways are so much more effective than laxatives. They will only hurt your body, destroy your metabolism, and possibly worst of all, laxatives will encourage the binging cycle.
