Hey guys anyone have any advice on how to make our 94 Cherokee doors removable like the Wranglers? Anything helps thanks!

the only thing i could think of is to just take the hinges off of a yj, tj or whatever and you'd have to take off the fenders and make a support brace behind it probably to support the weight of the doors and behind the door skins ...

Ha you could buy a wrangler ha unfortunately the doors on a Cherokee are important pieces for structural integrity, removing them would be a bad idea....

i got a great idea.
buy a tj, become a man.




thats all i can think of.

lil late but u take a dremel with a cut off wheel and cut the bottom part of the hinge of and then u can pull the door with the pin up and out. and fyi anyone who has wheeled an xj knows the doors offer hardly any support if any :/ ur really no worse off then a wrangler without doors

Zane your wrong the doors on a Cherokee or Grand cherokee dont offer any support what so ever
on one of my myspace groups im apart of theres a dude with a WJ with all 4 doors off

and im planing on the same for mine

im pretty sure that they make a removable tubular door for the cherokee... found these off a quick google search

only thing i did diff was trim down the hinge pin shorter cause with it full size it hits the fender and cant get door on and off easy and add a tig weld to top part of hinge to keep pin from moving on you...
